Lys (lysrowan) The following are among the "May flowers" that April brings. Read a book to match them. :)

For any of the below, you can read a book with that particular flower on the cover or a cover that shares one of the dominant colors of the flower (for some I have listed just a few of the many possible colors). Or you can try to match the "symbolism" of the flower.

Daffodils - Yellow, White - Rebirth
- Read a book in which the MC undergoes a significant/life-altering change.

Tulips - Yellow, Red, Pink, White, Orange - Love, passion
- Read a a book in which the MC achieves love (it can't be one of the dancing around books).

Rose - The color of a rose directly affects its 'meaning'. For a change, let's do lavender/purple which has to do with enchantment, enthrallment and first impressions.
- Read a book with magic OR love at first sight.

Zinnia - Pink, White, Yellow, Orange, Red - Friendship, Affection
- Read a book where main characters are friends,(but not lovers or harboring an unrequited love).

Peony - Red, Pink, Yellow, White (sensing a theme?) - Wealth, Prosperity, Good fortune
- Read a book with a wealthy MC, or a character who comes into "good fortune" - however you want to define that.

Challenge levels:
There are 5 flowers, with three options for "finishing" each - color on cover, flower on cover, meaning. Use these to make things harder for yourselves, or add your own favorite May flowers. :)

Easy - 5
Medium - 8
Hard - 11
Epic - 15

Challenge runs from 5/1 until 5/31~
Have Fun!

That's okay Carol. I think that's why it's called a challenge. Some challenges are harder than others to complete. I just finished mine by the skin of my teeth.

message 14: by Lys (new)

Lys (lysrowan) Yeah, this one was really hard. I didn't even attempt it. :)
