Mom2triplets04 | 316 comments Reading this on my kindle. The footnotes are annoying. Trying to skip those. This book must take place very long time ago. I'm on chapter 3 now but they are saying $500 for the year is enough! Crazy! That doesn't even pay for our groceries for one month. Lol. Will read more later.

It was written in the 1800's 1900's so that would've been relevant for the time. It's in England so not dollars but pounds which in that time 500 pounds would be about $200 a year.

Miranda Hamilton (mham19) | 22 comments I am really enjoying this so far. It took me a sec to get used to the language, but after I got accustomed to it, its quite nice:) I will definitely watch the movie once I finish it!

Ivy | 11 comments I don't know how I feel about this book. The story seems jumpy with not real plot. However I will continue reading and perhaps I will start to enjoy it.

It's always a slow burn for me and Austen. It takes quite awhile for the story and characters to build for me but in enjoying so far :)

Mom2triplets04 | 316 comments Still reading it. Wow $200 for the year I couldn't imagine.

Not getting into it yet but trying to stay with it. Hoping it gets better as I continue to read on

I normally don't read these sections as spoilers within. But this is a re-read for me. I've read this so many times in my life. For those of you who haven't seen the movie directed by Ang Lee it is BEAUTIFUL and very true to the book. My favorite character is Marianne my personal favorite Austen novel is Emma. This comes as a second and P&P comes in at third place.

Sicily (sicilyjoy) I'm finished this first part. it is definitely hard to get into but I am curious about where the story is leading.

Amanda (literary_panda) | 3 comments I spent my weekend and the beginning of the week in the hospital with my 4 year old son. He has pneumonia in his right lung, the flu and was diagnosed as high risk asthmatic. We're home now so I just downloaded my kindle copy of this book. Hopefully I can catch up to all of you.

Speedy recovery to your son. Hopefully the antibiotics helps.

Mom2triplets04 | 316 comments I'm finding this book a bit difficult to get into. (1) it's on my kindle! (2) I am in the worst reading slump. I can't stay focused on anything. All I want to do is watch tv and listen to music.

I at least read 38 books already so maybe it's time to slow down. Luckily today is our last day for work so spring break. So maybe I can sit and read.
