Welcome to the discussion board for the final book in the Angelfall trilogy, our September series book :)

I've just finished this one today and I loved it! I know the final book has received mixed responses, some feeling that it was too rushed or weird, and others adoring it, and happily I was in the latter. I thought the mix of action, friendship and romance was just right, and Raffe for me is just *swoon* :)

Really wish the series had been 5/6 books as originally planned though!!

Despite really enjoying this book I seem to have forgotten most of it already. I did find that part way through I started to lose interest but there is the possibility this was because I had been reading it for several hours straight. When they (view spoiler)[went into the Pit my interest peaked again and the last quarter of the book was great.

It was really interesting to learn more about Beliel and to learn how he became the character he was. His fate was quite sad and there was a moment when I hoped he would be redeemed but there was none of that. It was also interesting to see everything come full circle though I did wonder why Beliel was so clueless as to who Penryn (love this name) was. (hide spoiler)]

I wasn’t the biggest fan of the ending. There were no lose ends what so ever and everything seemed to come together perfectly. I always find this makes me roll my eyes and much prefer when there are things that are unresolved so that you can speculate about them after you’ve finished reading.

On the whole I loved this series and had it not been through this book club I probably wouldn’t have read them as I had not even heard of them.
