Jan | 532 comments Starting today and going through August AudioBookSync.com is giving away free audiobook downloads. Every 2 weeks, 2 different books are available. In order to receive them I think you need to sign up for their email alerts but I've included the link. They are doing this as a promotion to get young adults interested in books.

This week's books are:
The Time Machine
The Reluctant Assassin

You don't need to sign up for the email - I got most of them last year without signing up. However, it is easy to miss a week so the email alerts are probably worthwhile.

message 5: by Dee (new)

Dee (austhokie) | 1925 comments and I think this year (unlike previous years) pretty much all of them are available internationally

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

They were available in Canada last year - I got The Raven Boys (still have not read it!)

message 7: by Dee (new)

Dee (austhokie) | 1925 comments I know most of them were, but not all of them

Ann (annrumsey) | 163 comments Jennifer, I loved The Raven Boys! It was very well narrated.

Jan | 532 comments I originally posted that this was every two weeks. There are actually two new downloads every week. So the second week downloads are ready:

Cruel Beauty
Oedipus the King

message 11: by Karen (new)

Karen (rhyta) | 165 comments Yes, thanks for letting us know, I signed up for the email so I won't miss any more of them. Would have loved the time machine, have to go to the library for it.

Jülie ☼♄  (jlie) | 14 comments This is terrific, I just downloaded these two..
Code Name Verity
and
The Hiding Place

I am reading Code Name Verity at the moment so I will look forward to listening to the audio version...I think it will lend itself nicely to audio.

Michael (mobe1969) | 463 comments Next two are up:
Anne of Green Gables (yes I know I'm male, but I have fond memories reading this book as a kid)

I can highly recommend both the book and audio versions of Code Name Verity! Five star rating from me. This is a terrific story.

I listened to the reluctant assassin and really enjoyed it. Eoin Cofer is one of my favorite authors, if you want to check out Airman I think its one of his best!

message 32: by Sara (last edited Jun 21, 2014 01:21PM) (new)

Sara ♥ (saranicole) | 243 comments Airman is AMAZING! I have it on my mp3 player to re-listen to very very shortly... I think it'll be my 4th time to listen.

message 33: by Michael (new)

Michael (mobe1969) | 463 comments Next two are up. They both sound too sad for me so I think might skip them... :(

Michael I think you will find these were the last two and should change either tonight or tomorrow...so be quick.
Next two are:
Torn from Troy by Patrick Bowman
and
Peter and the Starcatchers by Dave Barry
