Some of the vampires in the Twilight series had special abilities (reading minds, altering emotions, shielding etc)...
Which ability was the coolest? Why?

message 2: by new_user (new)

new_user Probably the emotions. It's useful in ugly situations.

Elvia (elvb) I liked Edward's - reading minds. Although, Alice's ability is good too.

I think I liked Alice's ability a lot more than the rest...Although, I agree that Edwards is awesome. I would love to be able to read everyones minds. I could learn a lot of interesting things that way. It would have been a fun ability to have in high school. LOL I wouldn't have needed to study...I could just peek in other peoples heads! It would have come in handy!

new_user LOL. I don't know, you'd probably see some pretty ugly stuff. I say it's a good thing we can't read each other's minds.

Ugh! Thats true. I didn't think about that. It would make it really hard to concentrate too...Plus like in the sookie stackhouse series, it would be hard to date when you know all the perverted thoughts going through the guys head! LOL

Swati (readerforevergmailcom) | 2 comments I like reading minds - I think that's the most useful.

Emespre | 90 comments I think reading minds would be the most fun for a while, or if you could turn it off at will or use it selectively, but it'd get really annoying after a while. Like in Buffy when Buffy temporarily gains the ability and she can hear everyone's thoughts in the cafeteria in a mess. Otherwise, probably emotions.

message 10: by Helen (new)

Helen I've learnt from Sookie that listening in is not nice. So... probably calming moods, might help calming the children after play.

message 11: by Nada (new)

Nada Al-Karmi (nadooush) controlling emotions is the best. although, i wouldn't say no to making people think your hurting them like Jane does.

message 12: by Jojobean (new)

Jojobean I like the seeing the future ability and the emotion control.

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) Reading Minds.

message 16: by L.Y. (new)

L.Y. Levand (lylevand) I think that the ability to make things turn out how you want was the coolest. That was Siobhan's ability, wasn't it? She could just concentrate on the outcome she desired and it would happen!

I like Edward, Alice, and Bella's powers. I wish I had their powers.
