PattyMacDotComma | 3256 comments A day late (and a dollar short) for my #4 Place Name Idaho by Emily Ruskovich.

Beautiful writer but too many extraneous characters who just annoyed me. She's so good, though, I look forward to more.

3.5 because I was annoyed.

Kerrie (kez66) | 73 comments Well, I bit off a little too much but got through 4/5 so happy and feeling accomplished. Two of the books I have had on my shelf for eons and am now so very sad I took so long to read them as they were brilliant. For reviews go to my page. My 5th book will now become my first for the next challenge as the dust cover has a few colours for me to choose from.

MaryG2E (goodreadscommaryg2e) | 934 comments Finally finished the November "Armchair Traveller" Challenge. It was most enjoyable, and I managed to knock off all 5 categories. I used to worry that I was the only person in the world who had never read a Harry Potter book, but this challenge gave me the opportunity to redress that deficit. Now I know what all the fuss is about!

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by J.K. Rowling 4★s (Speculative fiction and YA fiction are genres that I rarely, if ever, read.)
3). Cover Hunt: Read a book with a picture of a mode of transport on the cover.
Nine Days by Toni Jordan 4.5★s (Train)

Halle McQueen (httpwwwamazonhallecom) | 8 comments I finished the challenge BUT.... I was 2 days over the deadline. I haven't read to a deadline before so it was interesting how it nagged on my mind to get back to the books.
