Episode VIII (originally published in October 1836): Chapters XXI-XXIII

Episode IX (originally published in November 1836): Chapters XXIV-XXVI

Episode X (originally published in December 1836): Chapters XXVII-XXVIII

Episode XI (originally published in January 1837): Chapters XXIX-XXX1

Episode XII (originally published in February 1837): Chapters XXXII-XXXIII

Episode XIII (originally published in March 1837): Chapters XXXIV-XXXVI

Since that makes a total of 20 (XX) episodes, why don't you make 4 threads of 5 episodes each? Unless someone has a better suggestion, of course.

I've finished the first 3 episodes and they are hilarious!! Keep on thinking which British actors would be best in what part!!

(I think Warren Clarke - God rest his soul - would be great as Mr Wardle!)

I will start reading the book today, as our trimonthly read. Just wanted to let you know you are not alone :P

This was the first Dickens I have ever read, purely because I found a beautiful old copy in a second hand book store. At first I wasn't at all sure what to make of these strange characters, but once you get used to the language and get to know the characters better it is a really funny book and a good entry into Dickens Victorian England.
