Hello, everyone! I hope you are having a good reading time. We can suggest a monthly read on this topic for the next month. I hope we will be more active, get to know each other and the most important thing is to read more public domain books together.

I would like to suggest that we listen to a Christmas audiobook from librivox.org in December. What do you think? And if you have any other suggestions for December, please write them in a comment below.

I like your idea, Sawako. I'll shorted it though to listen to anything from LibriVox.

Lanelle | 462 comments When Azuma-chan introduced herself, she mentioned that the first book she read in English was The Jungle Book. That made me think that a good themed read would be a book where an animal plays an important part in the story.

Tim talked about enjoying series for boys or girls in his introduction.

Both of those themes would be good.

Azuma-chan | 49 comments Reading about books where the animals play an important part sounds really fun. I also like to suggest fairy tale books. So far, I didn't read any but would love to.

Soothing Rays (sai-) | 20 comments Hey,
Why don't we read books by the following authors:

Mary Roberts Rinehart
C N and AM Williamson
Mrs George de Horne Vaizey

I've read some on Gutenberg and they are really good.

Thank you for your suggestions! 😊

I only know Mary Roberts Rinehart. I read The Man in Lower Ten and The Street of Seven Stars. And I am currently reading The Breaking Point.

Have you read these books?

Soothing Rays (sai-) | 20 comments When a Man Marries by Rinehart, A Motor Maid by CN and AM Williamson and all of Mrs Vaizey's books are my favourites.
