The Manchurian Candidate by Richard Condon

Finished.

This story was a surprise. Not at all what I was expecting. I thought it would be a straight up assassination, but it was so much more.

There were enough my gosh moments to keep me interested. And one giant oh my gosh moment, that I never saw coming. I didn't even have a clue. The ending was harsh, but I liked it. It fit the story.

I really liked this one, too. Not what I expected from the movies.
