Do you have a favorite book by the author?
I love all the Cal books, but if I had to choose I'd pick Nightlife. The first book in a series is usually my favourite, even if it's not technically the best - it's the one that made me want to read about these characters again and again.
I was sad to find out that Rob Thurman has been dumped by her publisher, with the last in the series in unpublished limbo. Not sure I want to read the penultimate one now, as I heard it ends on a cliffhanger.
