This is a game where we add book titles and the next person says whether they liked the book, hated it, or haven't read it (yet). "Hate" is a strong word but you can apply "hate" to any book you really disliked. This game will hopefully generate a lot of new book ideas for everyone!

For the first one, I'll go with a title I just started reading:
The Liars' Club
The Liars' Club by Mary Karr

For example, the next person might write:
Haven't Read It; then they list another title for the next person!

Have fun!

Chris Read it for English class in grade 10. Good, but dated. Some books, like The Catcher in the Rye, are literally so influential on modern popular culture that they snowball, and the original inspiration behind modern developments becomes redundant. I read Salinger's Nine Stories later, and enjoyed them much more.

I haven't read any SG books, but I've darn sure seen every TV episode and the original movie. I keep hoping the show will get resurrected.

Are the books as fun as the shows?

From the episode "Solitudes":

O’Neill: It’s just very hard to sleep with broken ribs when someone’s lying on you.
[....]
Carter: Colonel?
O’Neill: That’s my sidearm, I swear. No giggling. Please.
Carter: If we don’t make it, I won’t have any regrets.
O’Neill: I’ll regret dying.
