I'm reading Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon
Are you planning on seeing the movie?
I don't think I'll go out of my way to see it, but if I come across it, sure. I'd probably pick it up from my library to watch once it comes out on DVD.
What is your favorite book-to-movie adaptation?
Hmm... I think my favorite book-to-movie adaptation is The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, but I haven't read the book yet, so that might be cheating. That was a goooood movie though.

- Are you planning on seeing the movie? Not in the theater.
- What is your favorite book-to-movie adaptation? Loved One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Shankshaw Redemption. More recently, I thought The Room did a good job and pretty impressed with the adaptation for The Lord of the Rings

Maybe at some point, but likely not in theater.
- What is your favorite book-to-movie adaptation? The Help was excellent and the Harry Potter movies of course.

Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon

The Lost City of Z: A Tale of Deadly Obsession in the Amazon by David Grann
- Are you planning on seeing the movie?
Probably not
- What is your favorite book-to-movie adaptation?
The Pride and prejudice adaptation released in 1995 (young Colin Firth was a great Mr Darcy :)

I will watch the movie. My favorite book to film... Bridges Of Madison County.

I'm reading Murder on the Orient Express
- Are you planning on seeing the movie?
Yes! I'm very excited as I didn't know that this was going to be a movie until I looked, and all of the actors in it are pretty amazing, so hopefully it's good!
- What is your favorite book-to-movie adaptation?
I really liked the Lord of the Rings movies, I've read the books and while there's action in there, it's interspersed and they're pretty hard to get through. Seeing the movies gives the sense of thrill that most fantasy novels give me, and they cut down on the never-ending descriptions. (The Hobbit was not was well done for sure) (Peter Jackson really should have split up the original trilogy as well but I guess he didn't know how they would be received)

I will probably wait to watch on the small screen but very interested to see it, I liked the trailer.
My favourite book to film adaptation is another Daphne du Maurier
Rebecca

The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood (its a TV series, but I think that counts!)

Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings! There is so much I don't love but overall, I LOVE the movies and I also LOVE the books.

Everything, Everything

Murder on the Orient Express

Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie
Are you planning on seeing the movie?
I haven't decided yet! Maybe when it comes out on DVD; I tend not to go out to movies anymore unless I'm really excited for them because of how pricey they can be. Plus, instead of reading I'm listening to an audio-book version of the book, so in a way it feels like a production in itself, which is nice!
What is your favorite book-to-movie adaptation?
I'd say it's a toss-up between Wild and Gone Girl. I felt like both adaptations captured the tone and spirit of their respective books really well.
