In the light of this sad news, I might find a John Berger book as one of my reads.... any recommendations?

Yep, Ways of Seeing is brilliant! Read it at Uni for something ... and then re-read when I became fascinated by photography ... not sure I'd read it cover to cover though :) He's written a few novels?

I really enjoyed it too and have, additionally, been watching the series as well.

I think I want to read/dip into Ways of Seeing and one of his novels. Any recommendations for the novels?

I think there's a novel called G ... won the booker prize ... but I'm not sure without looking it up!
