Nancy Regan Darktown by Thomas Mullen by Thomas Mullen Thomas Mullen

This book has "movie" written all over it. I can almost see it--1940's Atlanta, in the summer, maybe Brandon Fobbs and Michael B. Jordan as Officers Boggs and Smith, and a younger Mark Wahlberg as Officer "Rake". And lots of great parts for older character actors, too as the "Rust Squad".

Stephanie C (the_book_lady) "Wonder" by R. J. Palacio...an utterly fantastic book that won the 2014 Kids Book of the Year award. A book about bullying, relationships, deformity, and ultimate redemption. This is a must read for every child, teenager, AND adult.

Cyndy (cyndy-ksreader) | 231 comments I read Daybreak by Viktor Arnar Ingolfsson. Who is killing goose hunters at daybreak in Iceland? This alone makes the novel worth reading. Some may say the detective partners are just another "odd couple" and they are, but they get along and do things together outside of work. Every possible suspect is pointing hints and fingers at others. This was a page turner for me and because of that it's recommended reading.

Loved this book but hated the ending! I did not get the answers or closure needed. I gave it 4 stars.
