OK I am off to stalk team Buttercup shelves. My crazy plan is to find enough books I have on my TBR that will fit into part 1 (and if those are completed hopefully part 2)...

How do you want to do this challenge? Keep concentrating on the normal uno cards and see whether we can add any of the bonus cards, or should we now concentrate on the bonus cards and come back to Uno.

I definitely think we should concentrate on the main UNO cards. They are worth more points And we only get points for completed cards. So I suggest working on those cards but if you find a book that works for both that is a bonus.

The book I am currently reading will work for the following in Part 2
Read a book where the main character has a pet
Read a book with a 3 in the page count
Read a book where a new friendship is made

There may be more as I am only 20% into the book. 8-)

i would say concentrate on the UNO hands the challenge is far from Mini IMO so we should just see what we get as far as that goes

As long as the book will also work for our UNO cards then you can read whatever you like. We are trying to concentrate on finishing the UNO hands because they are worth more points. You can see what cards we have left to fill. If a book you read also works for any of the tasks in part 2 of the Valentine Challenge then that is a great bonus for us but not our main focus.

The tasks in part 1 (except the bonus) require you to read a book that our valentine team (Buttercup) has read or put on their TBR list, but part 2 can be any book.

May I suggest that since we only have 10 days left for our February hands and 24 cards to fill that we make sure the books we are choosing will cover several cards or at least claim the spot the book can be used for so we don't have to scramble the last few days. Looks like we only have a few really fast readers (and Alissa seems to be MIA?)
