bwahaha I relate so hard to your dork diaries comment. every time I see a new one in a book store, I can't help but read it right then & there. EVERY TIME. maybe I should be embarrassed but I refuse to feel shame.

anyway, my series recs are:
-red queen (it's kinda like the selection except less wishy washy, more badass)
-daughter of smoke & bone (a 10/10, as-perfect-as-they-come, you-will-fall-in-love-with-it kind of series)
-uglies (oldie but a goodie series)
-the lorien legacies (aliens, but the cool kind)
-blue bloods (another oldie but a goodie, but hey, I'm always a sucker for vampire books. if you liked TMI, you'd definitely like this series)
-the infernal devices (cassandra clare's best work, if you ask me, with far more likable characters than in TMI and an ending that left me feeling very satified, for once)

hope that helps! :)

Andie N (andie-n) | 195 comments Oh also Divergent! I just finished reading the series, and I'm crying. I won't say why(because of spoilers) but anyone who has read it surely knows why. I read the whole series in three days. I almost wish I hadn't finished the last book, but it was worth it.

I would suggest etiquette and espionage. it has a whole series, it might not be appropriate for girls under 13 but it is amazing for teens. also it is made for girls. but it is sooooo good you sould totally read them.
