Kate S | 6459 comments 20.6 My Name is Red In honor of Gabriel's favorite book, My Name is Red, read a book with 25000-49999 ratings with an average of 3.75 or higher.

Please feel free to ask questions about this task in this thread.

Elizabeth (Alaska) | 14108 comments There are quite a few lists with this ratings range - no guarantee on the average rating:

/list/show/8...
/list/show/7...
/list/show/3...
/list/show/8...

There may be others. Have fun!

Gabriel Soll Do we need pre-approval on this one?

Elizabeth (Alaska) | 14108 comments Gabriel wrote: "Do we need pre-approval on this one?"

No, but if the number of ratings is very close to 50K or just above the 3.75, and you worry the book might get out of range, feel free to post here so that one of us can see it.

Valerie Brown | 3216 comments In that case.... I was planning on: A God in Ruins (just in case a bunch of lower starred reviews happen!).

Elizabeth (Alaska) | 14108 comments 3.92 is quite a way from 3.75, given 31k ratings.

Karin Question--does it matter if you read a different format of the same book that has fewer ratings? I'm not going to reread this book, but I saw Seveneves on there. While the Kindle edition meets this criteria, the hardback edition, with over 800 pages, does not because it has less than 7000 ratings.

Elizabeth (Alaska) | 14108 comments The number of ratings and avg. rating are not edition specific.

Karin Okay, I know it can be a 5 word title, but here is one for this, Holy Bible: King James Version since 20 points is better than 10 :) for such a long book.

Thanks, although I hope to use it for Yours, Mine and Ours, but combo points and flexibility are both great options.

Jayme(theghostreader) (jaymetheghostreader) | 2589 comments Yay! An extra 10 points to my score! Also that frees up the square peg again :) It was a good book too.
