Lauren, it makes perfect sense. Even if I may only read or make use of a couple books from a nonfiction set, I'll keep my eyes open for the rest of them. I hate having incomplete series, be it fiction or nonfiction.

I saw that a girl I borrowed V C Andrews from had ALL the books (in the 90's) and so I wanted to have ALL the books of my fave authors too. I would seem to have more incomplete collections of several authors though. So I focused on popular, favorite authors and fared better.

Like with the Dark hunter series I own Fantasy Hunter, Devil May Cry, Acheron, and Bad Moon Rising...I HAVE to fix that. Its bugging me inside :P

Usually I can hold off filling in holes in my series collections until I can find them for sale used, but there was one time where I just couldn't wait. Back in high school I went to my local Borders and bought all in one go the 18 books out of the 22 I needed to complete my Encyclopedia Brown collection. When I walked up to the counter with the pile in my hands, the cashier's jaw literally dropped. I remember wondering what the big deal was. lol
