Katherine Stillerman (goodreadscomuser_kathystillerman) | 3 comments Thanks for the invite. I'm Katherine P. Stillerman. I write and read historical fiction with strong female characters. I'm seeking honest reviews of my books and I'm happy to read and review your works, especially those in my preferred genre.

Dianna Gunn (diannagunn) | 1 comments Thanks for the invite! I'm Dianna Gunn, and I write mostly fantasy with the occasional science fiction short story or game piece thrown in. My debut YA fantasy novella, Keeper of the Dawn(/book/show/3...), comes out on April 18th. Advance reviews are already good, and I am trying to stay focused on all the marketing set up and not just explode with happiness, which is probably my biggest challenge right now.

M.L. Stoughton (mlstoughton) I'm M.L. Stoughton. I write YA, usually with a paranormal twist.

V.L. Perillo (vlperillo) | 1 comments Hi! I'm V. L. Perillo and I write sci-fi and a little bit of everything. I like writing romance, and epic fiction, and mainstream. Basically, I usually pick an existential question that I have and try to answer it through my characters. That is why I'm planning on going through different genres as they better fit the exploration of the question!

I'm also a full-time student, and a lover of all things creative. Learning is my hobby!

Jeffrey Walker (jkwalkerauthor) Jeff Walker here, literally in the middle of writing a 1914-1926 trilogy, "Sweet Wine of Youth." Vol 1, "None of Us the Same," hits the street next month. I'm now in the midst of revisions of Vol 2, "Truly Are the Free," and would be interested in exchanging beta reads for it. Should be ready for betas around mid-June.

I'm a legal historian by academic background, so have a lot of knowledge across time periods and locations, from medieval to early 20th century.

message 10: by Florence (new)

Florence Witkop | 14 comments Florence Witkop. Been writing for more years than most of you have been alive. Sold lots and lots of short stories until the magazines went belly up and out of business, a few copies of self-pubbed novels and won one award a long time ago.
I'm now switching to small town romances. Might actually succeed. Who knows? Anyway, am glad to find a place to get reviews. If Amazon kills them, I'll still have them on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ and can post them on Amazon with the blurb itself.

message 11: by Ed (new)

Ed Protzel (ed_protzel) | 1 comments Glad to be included in the group. My name is Ed Protzel and I've been writing for many years, both screenplays and novels. My first published book, "The Lies That Bind," is a historical thriller set in antebellum Mississippi. It's the first book in my Civil War-era DarkHorse Trilogy, and as one reader said, "has more twists and turns than a dirt mountain road." Book 2, "Honor Among Outcasts," set during the guerrilla war in Missouri, is due for release later this year. And the final book, "Something in Madness," set in the South during Reconstruction, will be out in 2018. Looking forward to reviews via Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ! Ed Protzel

message 14: by T.M. (new)

T.M. Mike Brown (tmbrownauthor) I enjoy authors working with authors to grow and become better authors. My first Southern Fiction mystery Sanctuary has launched with favorable reviews by both authors and book reviewers. I am now encouraging the initial readers to do likewise. The sequel Testament is preparing for a fall release with Deeds Publishing, Athens, GA. After many years writing inspirational blog posts and devotional messages, the journey to write a relevant story that embraces the values I hold dear was important to me, for the sake of my legacy with my grandchildren. Parables are far more loved and listened to rather than expository sermons dealing with the same topics. Between my wife (the voracious reader between us) and myself, we are always reading from a stack of books and would be open to exchanging books. My friends know me as Mike, but T.M. Brown is my author handle.

I have mainly written poetry and short fiction (mainstream), but I don't like to limit myself. I like to experiment with different genres. I love mythology, romance, and horror stories too. I like to read all types of genres. I look forward to sharing and reviewing. I have a website where I showcase some of my works:

message 17: by Carol (new)

Carol Soloway (carolrae) | 12 comments Hello!

I am Dr. Carol Soloway, a chiropractor and Qualified Medical Examiner- and most recently an author! I am on a book tour for my self-published novel, Sex Happens. While there are racy scenes, my novel is also about a woman finding her place in the world after betrayal and the end of her marriage, the value of family and friends, the strength we find we didn't know we had, and establishing a new life after our previous one has fallen apart. There is also a bit of suspense, if you like the edgier side.

I'd like to review romantic suspense, erotic fiction, inspirational stories, mystery/suspense with strong female leads. etc.

I look forward to sharing our insights with each other!

Julian Coleman (julianmcoleman) | 3 comments Hi, I'm Julian Coleman -- horror maven and dog lover. Not sure what the group rules are for reviews yet, but keep me posted. Interesting in-flux conversation. I also review for The LibraryThing, so if I ain't writing, then I'm reading. BTW, if I think the book sucks, then I will say so.

I just finished the second book of The Prophet's Mother series. I'm currently waiting for the second round of edits. (Yikes!)

All that you care to know about me...more or less...you can find here: JulianColeman.net or RavenHorrorMaven.com.

I'm looking forward to chatting and sharing.

message 19: by J.L. (new)

J.L. Canfield (juliecanfieldmecom) | 2 comments Thanks for inviting me. I'm looking forward to the discussions. My name is Julie Canfield but I write under several names. It depends on the genre and subject. I recently had a manuscript picked up by an indie publishing house and it will be released, if all goes according to the plan, on August 31, 2017. I'm happy to be a beta reader for anyone and would appreciate anyone beta reading for me. Over the past few years, I have learned that in the writer's world, you have to develop friendships with people who you could trust with your life. After all, what you write is really a paper version of a part of you. It speaks in your voice, you breathed life into it, and imagination birthed it.
I hope this becomes a place where honest discussions regarding topics, concerns, publishing trends happen as well as a place where I can give and get encouragement when needed.
As for reviewing your works, I will try to read as many as I can, and as quickly as I can but understand, my reviews will be an honest opinion. If I do not like a book, I will admit that but I will also try to determine what type of person would and put that into the review.
Can't wait to get to know some other writers!

message 20: by E.R. (new)

E.R. Harding (erharding777) | 5 comments Hi, I'm ER Harding. I write science fiction, and have just had my first published. I did it all myself, and that was hard. Now I'm writing the sequel and I'd really appreciate talking to other writers this time! I'm very happy to write honest reviews, but I'm still starving in a garret, (well, almost), so I can't buy books very easily.

Andrea Roche | 1 comments Hi all!
Thanks so much for the invite. I'm very excited to be included in this group.
I have my first published book on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. The title is Nights Arose the link is
It was published on November 28, 2016, so it is pretty new.
It is a Historical, paranormal romance. But I would do any genre except hardcore erotica.
I would be happy to serve as a reviewer. Although I have not done many here, I have been critiquing for a few years, as well as a beta reader for a few novels.
I am writing the follow up to the first and need to see if some of it floats.
So I need reviews for NA as well as beta readers and am happy to return the favor.
All the best!

Titles are A Slice of Life (published in 2013) A Slice of Life and A Hope of Life (published in 2017) A Hope Of Life. They are Christian Sci-Fi. I can review any genre except autobiographies or biographies.

message 24: by Keith (new)

Keith | 1 comments Hi everybody! Thank you for the invite to the group. I've got quite a few things out there and can't seem to find any readers or people to review them. I write mostly sci-fi and fantasy. I know Amazon discourages review exchanges between authors, so I'll probably just follow your links and pick stories at random that would interest me anyway. As for me, I have a bunch of free fiction on iTunes, Nook, and Smashwords. I'm trying to get Amazon to price match it and have only had limited success there. But for you Kindle owners, I do have one perma-free book: Whisper, which is a short story that sort of previews my novel, Necromantica. Here's the link:
Thanks everyone and I'm looking forward to checking out your fiction!

Nuzo Onoh (goodreadscomnuzo_onoh) | 2 comments Joy, peace, literary success and personal bliss to all of us writers wishing to share our work with the world! With determination, perseverance, unyielding faith and eternal hope, we shall yet reach our literary Nirvana. Reviews matter but believe me, the one honest, unsolicited and positive review of a stranger beats 1000 reviews of friends and family who have neither read my work nor have any inkling of what I've sacrificed to produce that work. The worst are the paid reviews...yuk!

So, hopefully, this group will be an impartial group, where we shall pick books at random to review, based on strong blurbs, covers and plot, instead of a straight exchange. I, for one, know I will be ecstatic if anyone just picks my book at random and takes the time to read it and post a review...pure adrenaline bliss! Looking forward to discovering new reads here. Remain blessed my writing brothers and sisters. Glad to share this platform with you. Nuzo x

M.K. Theodoratus (mktheodoratus) | 1 comments Hi All ... Just getting the author-grp-bit set up. My email service has been having upgrading fits ag. on & off email, in the middle of working on something.

I'm in the process of updating my writer's platform, which I built a couple years ago when I had a contract for a novel, There Be Demons, with a company that imploded. I now have that novel in edits and the sequel ready to self-publish.

Any way, I old and slow and will get back to you when I get my author group set up. but I'm willing to review books. I used to do book reviews on my old blog which Google won't let me into after some massive hacking scare. [They insist I set up a new blog, which I'm waiting for my website guru to get in gear.]

So:
My Facebook author page:

I think there's some way of private messaging there. I check it around twice a day & it's the fastest way of contacting me. I really don't get Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ.

J. Marie (tabby8) Hi, everyone! Thanks for inviting me to the group. I am Jennifer, a relatively new author and a voracious reader of contemporary and literary fiction.
Calmer Girls is my debut novel, released in 2016 and the first in a two-book series. The sequel, Calmer Secrets, was released in March 2017. Both are contemporary realistic fiction of the Young Adult and New Adult genres, although they would appeal to most fans of coming-of-age stories, young romance and family life.
I am open to reviewing a variety of genres, but prefer realistic rather than fantasy novels.

One thing though, I am in Canada so I don't know how that affects Kindle Gifts or if it shows as a verified purchase across all Amazon accounts, though I do post reviews to .com, .ca and .co.uk

I'm hoping to make some awesome connections that lead to friendships and reviews for all!

Good Morning. I'm Scott. I love to write fiction and currently have three published novels. They are the beginnings of a series about Jack Sharp, M.D. Congo Mission; A Step Ahead of Death; and Witness in the Window. Jack is a physician who tries to live his normal life but gets caught up in dangerous circumstances, including murder, smuggling, even kidnapping.
My newest novel, planned for June, is called "Crisis on the Ice." It is also fiction but a departure from the series. My new character Gabe Hunter is doing research in Antarctica when he and his team stumble upon the largest crevasse ever heard of. It is a novel of international intrigue set in one of the harshest but most beautiful places on earth.
