Lissa padded into the greenhouse, inhaling its wonderful springtime scent. She crept up the spiral staircase and sat at the top, dangling her legs. She had her mother's codex with her, and she picked out a beautiful flower in front of her and drew it in a spare space.
Rose sat crossed legged high up at the top of the greenhouse. She was enjoying the beautiful life that surrounded her and was essentially getting distracted from studying her theory. When she heard footsteps she quietly walked down to follow it, not even needing a soundless rune to make none. When she saw Lissa a smile made it's way to her lips, "Liss." She said, going to sit next to her. She looked over to see what she was doing with her mothers codex, "That's beautiful" she said.
"Hey Rose," Lissa said softly, "thanks, I just felt the need to do it. How have you been?" She asked, finishing up the intricate sketch. She closed her eyes, enjoying the moment, surrounded by peacefulness and nature.
((I have to go and sleep, I'll reply in the morning. Nighty nighty parabatai!))
((I have to go and sleep, I'll reply in the morning. Nighty nighty parabatai!))
"Wow, you are a truly talented girl, that's absolutely beautiful." Rose said, studying the sketch that really was beautiful. You knew that Rose was telling the truth, she was quite easy to read. "Oh you know, same old, same old. Trying to study for important things that I suck at, ending up getting distracted by something far more interesting and training for the more practical parts of my schooling. Nothing new." She grinned. "How about you?"
Lissa turned to her, eyes gleaming in the light. "I don't know, really. Blending in with the shadows, camouflaging with the trees, staying away from people. Same old, same old. Training by myself, studying in my dorm, that sort of thing." She reached into her pocket and lifting out a witchlight shaped in a heart. It was passed down her family, a heart for the Clearhearts. It shone in the light, and Lissa fingered it fondly.
"Why so much hiding, why don't you step into the spotlight?" Rose said a small smile on her face. "Let the light shine down on you whilst you destroy life's demonic." Rose said rather dramatically with a grin. She looked out over her beautiful sorrroundings.
Lissa let a small smile escape onto her lips. "But then you see, us Nephilim do the good with humbleness; there's no need for the spotlight." She said. She leapt over the railing, landing with a tumble turn into a crouch.
"Ahh, but my friend, we all need the spotlight once in a while." She leaped down after Lissa, a grin planted on her face. "You seem to be doing this a lot lately, jumping away from me, what's next a surprise attack." She was still grinning. Her grin momentarily softened, "You are okay right? You know.... After the other day." She still felt incredibly guilty that she had done that, she should have, she could have stopped.
Lissa smiled, almost sadly. "All in good time, Rose." She found fallen flower on the ground and she picked it up, twirling it with her fingers. She became lost, suddenly immersed in the galaxy of, well, nothing, if that made sense. "Yeah, don't worry about it," she mumbled, "I've just got a habit of jumping off things."
"Lissa, Lissa, always stuck in that amazing head of yours," She said, a massive grin upon her face as she watched Lissa eye the flower ever so intently. "If I didn't know you had a habit of jumping of things by now what sort of friend would I be?" She teased. "I've had to train for so many years to keep up with you without snapping my ankle."
Lissa turned to Rose, laughing softly in agreement, and gently tucked the flower behind Rose's ear. She thought it looked good, the lavender-coloured flower with her luscious blonde hair. "It's called a moonflower," she said, explaining, "when the full moon rises a layer of each petal comes off to reveal a silvery spot on each one." She said dreamily.
Rose walked gracefully into the Greenhouse, taken aback yet again by the beautiful array of colours et out before them. "I swear, one would never think there actually were this many flowers." She grinned, looking over her shoulder to see if Christian had entered.
Christian followed her in, grinning at her, "Ah, but you see, beautiful, one can never have to many flowers. And by walking in here, Rose dear, you kind of dull the beauty of the flowers in here," he chuckled. He sat down on a bench, gesturing for Rose to come sit next to him.
"You really lay it on thick don't you." She smirked. "But hey, I guess one can't deny the truth." She joked, ending in a laugh. Rose walked over and sat next to him in the bench, graceful as ever. "So tell me Christian, what do you propose we talk about."
"Nah, I'm just saying it as it is," Christian said with a smirk. He reached forwards and picked out a midnight-blue flower and tucked it behind Rose's ear. "It matches your eyes, Rose dear," he said, looking at her. "What do you propose, beautiful?" He teased.
Rose reached up and lightly fingered the Flower, "Thank you." She said, "Next time I see a green flower I'll tell you." Rose smirked, crossing her arms across her chest yet again. "I do not know what year you are in Christian." She said. "I'm a fourth, I'm fifteen."
"Well then, I shall tell you, Rose dear," Christian said, "I'm in fifth year. Sixteen years old." He looked around the greenhouse, admiring the dome ceiling that looked like an inverted lake.
"Older man, how sexy." She joked, smirk on her face. "That would explain your sudden maturity back there." She teased. "So tell me Christian, friends, enemies, demons, how's life at the academy.
"Life at the academy, hey?" Christian smirked. "Well, I can tell you one thing, Rose dear, it's a hell lot better since I met you," he smiled, blue eyes twinkling.
"Yesterday when you met me your life drastically changed. Wow, you sure know how to get a girl excited." She smirked, getting lost in the deep blue of his eyes. "Your eyes are amazing." She said, sounding almost in a trance. She shook it off. "Your hairs drying. You don't look so badass anymore." She smirked.
"Is that so, Rose dear? Well then, better wet it again, hm?"' Christian smirked. He looked around, and pushed past a couple of bushes and trees and found a deep-but-not-too-deep rock pool. "Hey, follow me. Care to swim?" He called.
Rose followed close behind Christian, when they came across a rock pool and he asked for them to swim, she raised an eyebrow. "Wow, okay your serious." She couldnt imagine it would be very warm but she had to learn the endure different conditions. She shurgged. "You only live once." She took of her boots and took most of her weapons off.
Christian took of his weapons and shoes, and shrugged off his shirt, thankful he was wearing shorts today and not trousers. He didn't meet her eyes; he didn't want to explain the scars on his back and stomach. He dived into the rock pool gracefully in one arc, and came up to the surface, shaking out his hair. "What are you waiting for?"
Rose smirked as she watched him undress, he had a hell of a lot of scars but she shurrged it off as scars from training, even thought it seemed excessive. She hopped in gracefully after him, trying to not show how cold she was. The water was shooting daggers. She went under and when she got up she brushed her hair out of her face. She grinned at him. "Mr badass is back." She said.
"Hey, I was right," Christian grinned, "you do look even more badass with your hair wet. You a bit cold there, Rose dear?" He smirked, leaning back on the rocks behind him.
"Please, my hair looks awful wet." She grinned, suddenly wishing she had a hair tie to keep it back. "I could say no but that would be lying. This rock pool isn't exactly the five star spa I had in mind." She said grinning, when Christian asked if she was cold.
"Aw, is wittle Wose all cold now?" Christian mocked teasingly, splashing water at her. "Do you go swimming much?" He asked, stretching out.
"Oh, I will get you for that." Rose grinned as he teased her, no one teased Rose. When he splashed her, what did she do? She splashed him back. She moved over to where he was standing and leant against one of the rocks. "I hardly ever go swimming." She admitted. "I go swimming to learn how but for pleasure -no." She said. "So, I no basically nothing about you." Rose smirked. "I could basically be swimming with a stranger."
Christian grinned back at her, turning away from her as she splashed him. "Really, Rose dear?" He smirked. "I thought we were like this," he said, holding up his hand to show his index and middle finger twisted around each other. He suddenly stopped, and turned away. "There's nothing to know about me, anyway," he said shortly.
"Awww, did I make little Christian sad" Rose grinned putting on a mock frown. "Dont worry christian, I still care." She said in a dramatic act, putting her hand over her heart. She moved closer to him when he seemed uncomfortable talking to her, "You right?" She asked.
"I'm fine, Rose," he said softly for some reason. Christian turned back towards her, surprised at how close she was to him. He stared at her for a moment, feeling as if her eyes were burning into his.
"Hey, I may joke around a lot but if you need to talk i'm here." She said in the same way she spoke to Lissa, as a friend. She lost herself in the magnificent blue of his eyes as they bore into hers.
"No, I'm okay. I don't talk," Christian said shortly. He lifted himself up out of the rock pool, sitting on the rocks and shaking out his hair. He stood up, picking up his shirt and weapons and putting them back on.
"I get it." She shrugged it off after that, not wanting to push anyone into anything. She watched him get out of the rock pool then got out herself, feeling herself getting suddenly freezing with her wet clothes against the cool breeze. "Yep, see your so badass wet. You should like walk around the academy in wet clothes, that'll earn you some marks." She smirked, back into her joking state, she never started far from it. She started putting her weapons back on as well.
Christian kept quiet, leaning against a tree. He shook out his hair, raking his fingers through it. Watching Rose intently, not breaking his gaze, he played with a fallen leaf in his fingers.
Rose was worried that she had made a big mistake as Christian stayed quiet. Once all her clothes had been properly put back on she turned around to Christian watching her. She smirked, walking over to him, feeling the icy cold breeze on her wet body. She wrung out hair and brushed it over to one shoulder.
"You look beautiful wet, Rose," Christian commented, his voice full of truth. He looked at her. "So what do you want to do now, Rose dear?" he said, back to his usual teasing self, smirking as usual.
"Do I now?" She smirked, not bothering to contradict him. "I'll be happy to do anything with you Christian dear." She teased, trying not to laugh and to stay somewhat serious. She went to stand next to him, running her fingers against the tree.
Christian raised an eyebrow. "Anything?" He asked teasingly. "So what if I asked you to kiss me? Would you say yes?" He said, his smirk softening slightly.
"Hmm, if you can convince me to kiss you." She teased, moving closer to him, truth be told, she really wanted to kiss him "This girl takes some convincing." Rose smirked. She ran her fingers down his arm, not breaking contact with his eyes.
Christian smirked back at her. "Convincing, hey?" He said softly. He grabbed her hand gently, placing it on his neck. "Tell me how you like this, then," he whispered into her ear, then crushed his lips against hers.
Rose smriked slightly, placing her other hand around his neck. She welcomes the kiss passionately, parting her lips slightly. After a few moments she pulled away slowly, "hmm, that was pretty good. I'm fairly convinced." She teased.
Christian raked a hand through his hair. "Aw, c'mon Rose dear," he teased back. "Think you can handle more?" He smirked, before kissing her again. This time it was softer but still passionate, the type that made oxygen overrated.
"You underestimate me." She smirked. Desire licked through Rose as Christian kissed her again, searing her body and conscience. Momentarily the air was stolen from her lungs, and came flooding back with a mix of emotions, joy, longing, desire, and even fear made it's way over but was quickly discarded. She was aware of the burn of his hands on her body, the vulnerability hidden away and the slight, tremulous breathing.
She pulled away slowly, smirk on her lips, "Yep, I think that convinced enough." She was then again filled with a fierce longing, then with no power of the pull, her lips yet again caressed his. Fire and passion between them.

Christian smiled into the kiss. His hands slid up her arms, pressing into her back. He pulled away, resting on a tree. "I must say, Rose dear, you seem a little bit restless," he smirked, raising an eyebrow mockingly. "Can't keep away, hey? But that's totally understandable," he teased, giving her shoulder a squeeze, "I'll always be happy to help."
