Rachel | 529 comments I quite liked this one - Holmes story - (and I can actually remember it from the title - I read this last year when it came out)

Jim (jimmaclachlan) | 2369 comments This was one of the best, IMO. It was satisfying on a number of levels, even if AC Doyle probably would have disapproved. (view spoiler)

RJ - Slayer of Trolls (hawk5391yahoocom) I liked this a lot. The split narrative really kept the story suspenseful.

Bryan | 310 comments This one is my favorite from this collection. If anyone can solve death, it's Holmes! I loved the different narratives and the setting in the mountains.

Mike (mikekeating) | 242 comments I really enjoyed this one. Over the last several years I have come to enjoy most things Holmes, but I've hardly read any of the post-Doyle works featuring the character. Original Holmes tales for movies and TV I've watched, but not much of the written word. I agree that Doyle would have disapproved.

I actually thought the fountain of youth angle was silly, but the characters seemed true to how ACD wrote them.
