I quite liked this one - Holmes story - (and I can actually remember it from the title - I read this last year when it came out)

This was one of the best, IMO. It was satisfying on a number of levels, even if AC Doyle probably would have disapproved. (view spoiler)[I've read several places that he came to hate Holmes & really resented bringing him back to life. Imagine how he'd feel about him becoming immortal! Definitely the creation has outlived the man. (hide spoiler)]

I liked this a lot. The split narrative really kept the story suspenseful.

This one is my favorite from this collection. If anyone can solve death, it's Holmes! I loved the different narratives and the setting in the mountains.

I really enjoyed this one. Over the last several years I have come to enjoy most things Holmes, but I've hardly read any of the post-Doyle works featuring the character. Original Holmes tales for movies and TV I've watched, but not much of the written word. I agree that Doyle would have disapproved.

I actually thought the fountain of youth angle was silly, but the characters seemed true to how ACD wrote them.
