I've just finished this book, not my favourite, but nevertheless, I did enjoy it!

A somewhat different format and style to the usual Poirot books, as this murder was set in the past- what did everyone think about that?? Did you like it, or do you prefer murders taking place in the present?? I must admit I'm usually a fan of murders in the present as its kind of more on your edge of your seat, whereas murders in the past are more of a recount,/story I suppose this means you have to imagine it yourself more!?
Like most of the time, I couldn't guess who did it in this clever novel, Christie had me fooled once again!!! Would love to hear your thoughts on this book:)

I must say that at the beginning I didn't like the idea of a crime taking place 16 years prior, but the more I read the more I got engaged and in the end I liked it. Part of the reason probably is that FINALLY I did it. I solved an Agatha Christie book! Not even a few pages before the end, but halfway there. And not just the criminal, but also the fake one, their reasoning, the small details, almost all of it! But I wasn't disappointed, it's good for a change to solve one yourself.
