Well, the paperback is clearly listed at "49% Off" right on the cover; perhaps that refers to page count rather than price? :)
I have the paperback of Ready Player One, original 2012 printing, and can confirm the 380pp.
The upcoming edition is a little narrower (closer to US "mass market paperback"). Could that, a larger font & wider margins really explain the growth to 608 pages? If it's just a clerical error/typo, it's from the publisher, since Amazon & B&N have the same page count.
