Whoa! Off and running for the cornucopia already, I see. I just finished reading Mockingjay as a part of the “Finish That Series challenge, so it seems fitting to lead this now. It’s my first time moderating, so please bear with me.
I will use this post to record any newcomers and the progress of participants. If you have any trouble posting or I happen to miss your name, please let me know. I will do my best to check in frequently, and I will let you know when I have done an update.
Happy Hunger Games, and may the odds be ever in your favor!

Jackie, don't worry! Most tributes begin the Hunger Games wondering if they are up to the challenge. I'm sure you will do just fine. :)
Karma, did you want to do 13 or 14 (the thirteen districts plus the capitol)?

What a great challenge idea. I need to get back on track with reading. Please sign me up for 5 to start with and if I can, I will add more.

Does district 8 mean like a pice of clothing (ex. shirt) on a cover and/or a person wearing clothing on a cover?

I see you hit the ground running, Elsbeth, Karena, Tasha, and Adriana! I have noted your progress and promise not to send any giant waves your way to impede it.
Adriana, District 8 requires any clothing on the cover. For example, it could be a piece of clothing hanging

Here are examples that do not work for this category:

Hope this helps explain it! :) Let me know if you have any other questions.

District 2: District 2 produces weapons and trains peacekeepers. Read a book about a war OR read a book with a cop as one of the characters.
I see that guards (and Night Watches) are peacekeepers too, so is it possible to read Guards! Guards! for this district?

District 8: District 8 makes textiles. Read a book about fashion OR read with an item of clothing on its cover.

Does it count if I started the book at the end of June?
Also,
District 2: District 2 produces weapons and trains peacekeepers. Read a book about a war OR read a book with a cop as one of the characters.
Can a sheriff that is investigating murders count as a cop?
This is my first official challenge I can't wait to complete this challenge:)

@ Merja and @ Chris - Yes, guards, sheriffs, FBI agents, INTERPOL agents, and policemen (cops) are all civil servants keeping the peace. All are acceptable main characters to complete the challenge.
@Chris - Challenges go by the date the book is completed, so it is fine to have started the book in June and finished it in July.
