I liked Katy in the first book but after it i wished she would die a painful death!! Her and not everyone else!!!!!
She acts like a moron,like everything is about her!She acts like she's such a badass but in truth she depends on Damon for everything!

Think of it this way: what makes a right decision to you could be wrong to someone else. And how fast would you adapt after being thrown into something that you didn't know existed before and is potentially and extremely harmful to your life?

I absolutely love her... I mean i just love how she always put the people she loves first even if it means putting herself in harms way. I also love the fact that she doesn't let other people manipulate her , how she stays true to herself no matter what...i mean i admit Adam's death was totally her fault but in a way she was only trying to protect them , she didn't want to get them involve and make their lives more complicated then it already was.

Actually I find that Origin is the most bearable Katy had ever been. I think Onyx was the worst I almost burned the book halfway through. But I will say this, if I hear the words "awesome" "nice" or "whatever" one more time I'm gonna slap the author

Yes Katy is sooooo freakin annoying I mean can't she just listen for once I'm not asking for all the time just once. She ruined everything with her stupid stupid choices. I just can't get over what happened to Adam :(

Yep. i dnt like her at all in this book. Adam's death is totally her fault. She makes so many stupid decisions.I liked her in obsidian, she was funny and smart and she pretty much figured that somethimg else was going on with her neighbours. But in onyx her I.Q drops to zero.

I am so glad you all agree.. Katy was annoying.. "but are you sure its not the connection"??? Daemon apologized like a million times.. man that boy has some patience.. and she so does not deserve him.. Not to mention learn to take a joke.. Daemon is teasing you don't get so flippin mad all the time..

No, I definitely follow you on this opinion. In Origin, it gets a tad bit unbearable. Katy's still cool and all, but she has her ways. cx

I liked Katy for most of the series, but there were times that I literally was pulling my hair out and had to stop reading because of the choices she was making.
Example: Our lovely friend Blake.
Are you FREAKING kidding me Katy? This dude had killed who knows how many people, paralyzed you for a few minutes, threw a knife at you, left you in a group of arum, lied his butt off and nearly kidnapped you, and you're going to let him ride off into the sunset? REALLY?!
She so had it coming when he came back; that was all on her.
But the rest of the series I liked her; like I said, it was just a few sections where it was almost unbearable.

you know whats funny? im trying to think if i liked or hated katy and all i can say it this: even though she was a main character in the book and the narrator of the series she was such a non factor to me. like i didnt care about her enough to like her or hate her. i focused on daemon the whole time. i think thats probably worse than hating her lol

WHAT..... No, no, and no Katy is amazing. She's one of the reasons I love the Lux series. Of course she's not perfect. I agree that she could be annoying sometimes especially when she wouldn't accept Daemon had feelings for her, but he was so mean to her in the first book. I mean even i would have reservations about going in a relationship with him. Plus she stood to what she thought was right, for that i give her props.

I liked Katy. Not everyone likes her because people wish that she would make the decisions that they would. She has a different way of thinking. Everyone does. She chose what SHE thought was a good decision for her and anyone else.

I love Katy! She is one of my favorite characters. She is so brave and strong. I love how she puts her loved ones before herself. She was a really inspiring character to me. I really enjoyed this series as well.

She is so annoying ! I hate how she keeps saying I'm the new Katy not the weak bystander, no Katy you still are weak and pathetic , you have all this power and you still make stupid decisions and depend on Daemon to come and save your stupid butt! God worse than Bella.

I absolutely adore the series, what so ever, Katy was the biggest pussy ever, she was all like "im an strong, independent women and i can protect myself" nope, everytime anything use to get on her way she used to be like going for it and at the and be crying and asking for help, like gosh, it's ok if you're scared but at least admit it.
