✔︎ The Book Jumper by Mechthild Gläser |★★★| Sep 7
An interesting concept that is a must read for book lovers. I struggled between rating this a three or a four and decided on a three because I think the ending could've been stronger. Overall, it's still a good book and was time well spent.
I should also mention that the audiobook is exceptional. The narrator, Mary Sarah, has an eloquent voice that is very pleasing to the ear. If you have an opportunity to listen to her work, you won't be disappointed!

Something Round on Cover:

I read The Iron Duke which has something round on the cover.
I gave it 3 stars because it is a good book, but I thought the world building left a little to be desired so it was a bit confusing to get going with. The romance was pretty solid. Nice Alpha Male," Grrr I want her, I shall have her" He-man style thing going on. But our girl, Mina was not a push- over so it made for a good romance.

September Theme: Pardon Day: {September 8th) Give an author/series you’ve given up on one more shot.

4+**** I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I am so glad that I gave Fiona Davis another shot. I may actually go back and try to read The Dollhouse again. It took me a minute to get into the story especially with it switching time periods BUT I am so glad that I finished it. I did not see the ending coming!

Item: Basketball (a main character played basketball A LOT)

4**** I really enjoyed this newest book by Debbie Macomber. I would not mind going back to this town/church again in the future. A great, uplifting read about second chances.

My 2nd book finished:
Blue Cover:

I can't say that I really cared for this book, mainly because the heroine drove me crazy. There is independent women and then there is this shrewish woman.

Item: Something round (hockey puck)

This was my first book by Fredrik Backman. It will not be my last!! It centered around a hockey team but can relate to so many small towns that center around whatever sport/activity that they participate in religiously. Where I'm from its football and band.
