It's baaaaack! That's right, this read-a-thon has a team challenge. For those of you who were in the 2016 group, this should look familiar. If you're new to the group in 2017, allow us to explain!

What do I have to do to participate?
If you can commit to actively participating in the read-a-thon, then please sign up in the comments below. We have heard your feedback and have tried to make this group activity fair and fun for readers of all speeds.

Please only sign up if you can commit to checking in with your team (on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ) at least 3 times during the week of September 17-24.

How many teams will there be?
The number of teams and participants on each team will be determined once sign-up is complete. Without knowing how many participants will sign-up, this is difficult to determine now.

Please try and sign-up by Wednesday, September 13, to give us a few days to work out teams.

For general information about the read-a-thon, visit the announcement post.

6. Will you be reading books for the AtY RC during the read-a-thon?

Bec, team captains would definitely have less to do in Bingo than they would in Battleship. But basically just guiding the strategy. Since the squares require multiple members, it's best to strategize for who completes which squares and whether there's enough people reading for each square.

It does sound like something I could do but I've just realised how much I have on next week so will have to give it a miss this time (team captain). I will definitely consider it for future read-a-thons.
