Ever just have a slump when it comes to reading? Whether it's a couple days, or a couple months? What gets you out of your slumps?

The last two months I've had this awful lack of excitement and it's hindering my reading. I'm not sure how to get back in the swing of reading again!

Brandy | 2535 comments It just takes the right book. The problem with being in a slump, you don't feel like trying anything. Sometimes I will go back and listen to an author that I know I like their writing.

Brie | 569 comments Same here Sara! Work is slowing down now but I'm having trouble getting back into the books! I agree with Brandy though.

Yeah and I have been saying that I'm having a difficult time finding a great new book. That could be it too.

Brandy | 2535 comments maybe try a genre that is out of your norm? Maybe you are just tired of YA/fiction/urban fantasy

Every November and December I get into the biggest slump because I get so busy with Holidays and Family things. I'm finally getting back out of my Holiday Slump now.

Lavender (breakingthecyclepodcast) I am unable to read during school so I catch up in the summer if I don't have to study

Axel Marvah (westspiderking0270) | 11 comments I reread a book I know and love. Or one that I know I’ll enjoy. Then I’ll look around for a new book that i might like.
