This might be challenging for me - I went through a "Time Travel Yay!" reading phase a year or two ago, and now I'm kind of time-travelled-out. I'm sure I can find something ...

The Map of Time - this book is actually the one that suggested the prompt to me as it sits in my TBR pile!
Time and Again - a classic and one of the best in the genre. In fact any Jack Finney qualify.
A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court
The Time Machine
Somewhere In Time - movie version was Somewhere in Time with Christopher Reeve.
Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict
The Time Traveler's Wife

I recently read The Time Machine, which if you're not a fan of sci-fi, was a nice quick read that you can tick off in a day.
I can't recommend The Time Traveler's Wife enough. One of my favorite books of all time.
And I just recently finished The Jane Austen Project which I really enjoyed. A doctor and actor go back in time to befriend Jane Austen and her favorite brother Henry to save a manuscript that Jane destroyed before it could be published. It was a fun read if you're into that sort of thing.

A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court
The Time Machine
The Time Traveler's Wife
There and Now by Linda Lael Miller
Jude Deveraux has several including
Legend
Remembrance
A Knight in Shining Armor
Constance O'Day-Flannery has several including
Here and Now
Time After Time

To Say Nothing of the Dog doesn't feel sci-fi at all. Comedic goings on in a British neighborhood, based on Three Men in a Boat. Very light and fun.

I was just going to suggest this one :)
If you like YA, I highly recommend the Gem trilogy by German author Kerstin Gier:
Rubinrot/Ruby Red
Saphirblau/Sapphire Blue
³§³¾²¹°ù²¹²µ»å²µ°ùü²Ô/Emerald Green
They are funny, romantic, exciting, well-written and nicely plotted.

I was just looking at these for the color prompt, but thinking red's really not my favorite so I'd have to get to book to 2 to count it. Maybe I read book 1 for the time travel prompt and book 2 for the favorite color prompt...and then book 3 for the next book in a series you already started:)

Split Second by Douglas E. Richards
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - Parts One and Two by John Tiffany
11/22/63 by Stephen King
Timeline by Michael Crichton
Doomsday Book (Oxford Time Travel #1) by Connie Willis
The Rose Garden by Susanna Kearsley

If anyone's looking for a recent YA book I'd recommend Invictus by Ryan Graudin. I read it a few weeks ago and loved it. Kind of like Firefly with time travel.

Passenger and Wayfarer by Alexandra Bracken (YA)
A Knight in Shining Armor
The Hourglass Door (YA)
Shadow of Night (Book 2 of the All Souls trilogy)
The seven books in Karen Marie Moning’s Highlander series (Scottish time travel romance)
Timebound (YA)
If romance isn’t your thing...
Doomsday Book and To Say Nothing of the Dog by Connie Willis
Timeline
Slaughterhouse-Five
The Time Machine

I have never read anything by Connie Willis, and these are on my shortlist for this category - which of these two books should I read first? GR implies that it is a series?

I liked the graphic novel.

It is a series and Doomsday Book is the first in the series. You don’t have read them in order, though, I think.

That sounds like a really good plan^^

Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency
A Christmas Carol
If you'd like some non-fiction there is Time Traveler: A Scientist's Personal Mission to Make Time Travel a Reality

It was fun, but one character will correct you to "history travel."

Yeah even though it's called a "wrinkle in time" and that's how the witches describe their travel, they seem to travel through space, not time. I would not class it as a "time travel" book, but I also can't say it's not a valid choice. It's sort of thinking outside the box a bit!

Right? It's a little tricky. I may just put it down for my "Local Author" choice and try to find an actual time travel book, or I may not ;) decisions, decisions.

I don't think it matters - you kind of jump in and learn from context about the rules and history of time travel in either. The most important consideration is do you want a horrifying trip into despair (Doomsday) or a light-hearted comedy adventure (To Say Nothing).

If you find yourself reading Blackout/All Clear at some point, bear in mind that they're really just one huge book. You have to read both volumes to get any real resolution.
I'm stoked because I saw her the other night, and she's actually thinking of writing another time travel book! She's been saying for a long time that she was done with that series.

One of its sequels, A Swiftly Tilting Planet, does involve time travel, though!

A few others in my book lists:
- Time Between Us and Time After Time - sweet YA time travel romance
- Doomsday Book - I second the recommendation; time travel with some serious consequences.
- Ruby Red is in my classroom library and would suffice pretty well.
- Must Love Breeches - If you're looking for a softcore time travel romance that also teaches you about a real historical figure (Ada Lovelace), this is your book. I think the author has written other time travel romances, too.

I actually started this series with Blackout/All Clear and have no regrets, and I'll be reading To Say Nothing of the Dog for this challenge.
