Is it just me?

Does it seem like vampires always fade in and out of the limelight, making people like us scrounge around to find more? They seem to come out full blast and be the talk of the town, the highlight of every T.V. station and big screen. Then, dust, nothing left but the ashes as if they've been staked in the sun. Are they plotting to make bigger, better vampires? Or are vampires, for some, just a phase that comes and goes?

This is what happens with vampires every few years, maybe a decade or so. Been happening since the nineteenth century. There is a vampire craze, we see lots of vampire stuff out there, then it kind of fades and comes back again. I didn't like the vampire craze we just had...LOL. But it'll come back. Yeah, there are still people like us though, who don't follow a trend. LOL.

Cause we're the rare breed that likes what we like just because we like it, and not because our peers tell us to. LOL!!! This time around was weird, but, it felt like it was FINALLY staying around. I was looking forward to more films like Abraham Lincoln and the like.

But that Van Helsing series? It has GOT to go. As much as I need a vamp fix, it's too much like a wannabe Walking Dead, just with vamps instead.

LOL....I agree. I sat through five minutes of one episode of that and turned it off. That was the end of it cause it was shit.

Yeah, the vamps in that series are not my kind of vampires. They are more like zombie heroin addicts. The whole thing is just cheap and thrown together.

I did enjoy Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, although the book was better. He came out with a sequel to that not too long ago...The Last American Vampire

I know! Didn't wanna read it in case they did a movie for it. And there are so few movies to look forward to these days! LOL! Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll make mine into one. Lol.

Yeah, that would be cool. I don't think they are making it into a movie. Although if by "so few movies to look forward to", you mean vampire movies....Dacre Stoker (Bram Stoker's great grand-nephew) is working on a new Dracula movie.
