Kate S | 6459 comments Choose one book you read last season, and read any book on that book's Readers Also Enjoyed list. Cannot be used for combo. Can only be used one time.

Please use this thread to discuss task 10.1.

message 2: by Beth (new)

Beth Robinson (bethrobinson) | 1174 comments I didnt claim anything last season but I did read a bit including A Canticle for Liebowitz that was intended for the cleric task.

Currently on the Readers Also Enjoyed, in case it changes:
Where Late the Sweet Birds Sang
A Case of Conscience
The Demolished Man
This Immortal
The Einstein Intersection

Jkmays my question similar to Beth's. This is my first seasonal challenge, but I read about 30 books over Sept-Nov. Can I just pick one of them and do the Readers Also Enjoyed?

Yes. Any book you have read since Sep 1 will qualify for this task. And welcome!

message 8: by Marina (new)

Marina (sonnenbarke) I think I will read either The Late-night News (from Death in Brittany) or Caleb Williams (from Uncle Silas). Can I have them approved, please?

Elizabeth (Alaska) | 14108 comments Marina wrote: "I think I will read either The Late-night News (from Death in Brittany) or Caleb Williams (from Uncle Silas). Can I have them approved, please?"

Yes. We discovered awhile back that the books in that section might change, so reserving them before they disappear is an excellent idea.

Could I please clarify, for us who participated & posted for Fall, do we choose one book we posted for or can it be any book read last season whether or not we claimed them for RwS?

Elizabeth (Alaska) | 14108 comments Tien wrote: "Could I please clarify, for us who participated & posted for Fall, do we choose one book we posted for or can it be any book read last season whether or not we claimed them for RwS? "

You can use any book you read between Sep 1 and Nov 30, whether for RwS or not.

Tien (tiensblurb) | 3052 comments ok, thanks, Elizabeth!

There are 4 books I rated 5 stars last season were all YA and 2 of them do not have Readers Also Enjoyed section... just my luck!

Anyway, here are my options (fitting in with #LoveOzYA, yay!):

From Corruption (Disruption #2):
Pieces of Sky
The Things I Didn't Say
Frankie
none of these were at BPL last I checked

The Midnight Choir has slipped off The Days of Abandonment. I'll check again after a bit and see if it is back.

You're good to go with the others.

Thank you! I'm not sure if the Readers Also Enjoyed list is ranked in any sort of order, but it was near the bottom yesterday, so I'm not too surprised it was in danger of falling off.

Karin Does it have to be a book we posted for RwS last season, or can it be any book we read? Since I only posted 5 but read more (not tons like in the summer as my schedule is busier) I am asking.
