Author Malcom Gladwell discusses change and reasons behind them when change happens quickly. He talks about health, television shows, and products that see changes in their popularity. He tells how information gathers or 'mavens', information 'connectors' and 'salesmen' play key as roles that help ideas spread at a fast pace.
Gladwell refers to the Stickiness Factor as a way to make an idea memorable. He also tells of the Power of Context and how the Law of the Few combine to help reach the Tipping Point. It is an interesting look at rapid change in our society. He has observations that will be able to be applied to the future and talks to people who have played pivotal roles in sales and advertising.
I read this a few years back and really enjoyed it. However now (probably 5-6 years later) the only I think I remember is about the 'stickiness factor'. I guess that was pretty sticky, but the rest of the book wasn't for me.
