2017 is almost over, and that means that it's time to start thinking about 2018! So, what goals do you have for the new year? How many books do you want to read? Let's chat. :)

I think I'll go with the same goal as this year so I'll try to read 100 books.

Well this year I aimed for 101 and so far got 110. I'm aim for 2018 goal for 60 books. If I get more than that then cool. But 60 it is.

I will probably just do the same thing as I do every year so far. Just pick a number that is important to me, so I at least have the challenge up and I can check my books. I don't really set a number so I can achieve that, I noticed I get really stressed out if I do that.

120 for me in 2018. This year I just put it at 50 and ended up reading 120+

I think I'll be aiming for 50 books next year.

I think for will go for 100.

I"m going to try to go for 40 books in 2018. I'm also being more specific with my goals such as reading at least one Jane Austen book, rereading a book from high school, etc.

I’ve just now been getting back into reading, hoping to finish my 20 book goal. College squashed my reading time and energy. Now that I’m teaching, I’ve got a bit more time and enthusiasm for reading!

My goal for 2018 is 35 books.

I am going to go with 200 for 2018 again. I will be reading a LOT more NA books this year because I am going to the Book Bonanza in July put on by Colleen Hoover. I am SO excited because first of all, I WON the trip from Colleen!! Secondly, I get to take one person with me and that'll be my daughter who is a teacher, avid reader, and editor so we'll have a blast!

I will put my goal for 50 next year since I will be starting college and have no clue how that's going to affect my schedule. Hopefully I can read more than that but 50 it is

My goal is going to be to finish reading about 30 series and the rest is to read longer books.

218 books in 2018 would be cool! actually2018 would be cool.. I'll probably set it at 110 next year I had it at 12 thinking I'd read one book a month this year and ended up reading 94 and counting - so 110 seems reasonable

I'm debating between 45 or 50. Going to try to read more adult books & some classics :)

My goal for 2018 is to read 150. That was my goal this year but I fell short. But I got over a 100! I also want to finish up all or most of the series I have started and left hanging.

Hey all! I'm new to the group, but definitely wanted to jump in on this one.

I didn't started using GoodReads consistently until about August of this year, so I set a low goal of 10 books. I'm at over 20 books now and still have a week or two left of 2017!

So I think I am going to set a goal of 60 books! It's awesome and motivating to see such high goals, like over 100+ books! I hope to get there one day too! =)

I'm going to shoot for 12 for now. I still gotta ease reading back into my schedule.

My reading has slowed WAAAAY down since starting to work again (it's just a fun job but it's really sucking up my time right now! LOL)

so I think I'm going to set my goal at 100 to start and adjust it if I need to..

I think I'll aim for 300?

I want to do more writing this year and practice my Korean, Japanese and French more. ^-^

I'm going to try for 50 in 2018! I set it at 30 for this year and met it with ease (I only started tracking everything properly on goodreads in November so I'm pretty sure I've forgotten a few too). In 2018 I will write my dissertation, finish uni and enter the working world so I don't want to set my goal too high when I don't know what this year will entail!

I just printed off a reading log that has 80 slots, I intend to fill it, as well as get through the entire Protestant Bible this year (it's about time I actually read the whole thing).

This year I only read 30 books since it was my last year of school and very intense... but next year my goal is to read 100.

I'm going to read 70 books this year if it kills me!

My goal is to hit 100...even if I reach 50 Ill be satisfied with that. Definitely expanding my selections of books that I read.

My reading goals is to definitely be more consistent with reading in general. I'd like to make it a daily habit. Even if that means just allocating time to reading 10 pages of a book a day!

My goal is to get back to reading. I haven't been reading much since I started my bachelor studies, it's already been 3,5 year... I kept my goal easy this year, only 20 books. But let's see how it goes, at least the start has been promising! :)

I set my goal at 50 but I would really like to hit 60. I was able to do it in 2017.

Well, I set my goal for 10 books. I've been reading mostly fanfic for 4 years now and I wanted to slowly get into books again. But I'm already halfway through my 8th book this year so that is going well xD

I initially set my goal at 60, but when I got 13 books ahead of schedule I figured I should bump it up! So it's currently at 100, the highest I will put it (depending on the point in the year) is probably 150 ... I have a list of 121 books I WANT to read this year, but with school books as well I have been reading a lot more than usual.

Summary:
* 121 books on my WANT TO READ list for 2018
* GR goal = 60 --> (now) 100 --> 150?

My goal is 30 books but I'd like to read more than that. I've got too many books in my tbr list.

My goal is 100 and also to start writing reviews for most of them!

Aiming for 150! Currently at more than 33%! That is about 10x the amount I read last year if I complete it. Should definitely write more reviews while I'm at it.

I am aiming to finish 100 books by the end of this year. I'm currently am at 95% so I have a way to go still.

All these people aiming for 50, 100 or 150 books this year, and I'm aiming for 10...

My goal was 100 but i have already read 153 so now i am going for 300 but if i don't get there i don't care
