Elizabeth (Alaska) Could we have a clear policy in the manual regarding librarian notes by staff? There was a thread in the feedback group that indicated we more normal librarians are allowed to revert changes made by staff and for which there is a librarian note. Personally, I would be quite uncomfortable undoing something done by staff and would hope that there would be an audit trail for staff to undo their own changes. However, if we are to do the work, can there please be something in the manual indicating when and where we are allowed to do so?

See this specific comment, but please also the conversation upthread (and downthread).

Moved to Additions to Librarian Manual folder, and I will pass the request along to the staff members currently working on the Manual.

Moloch | 3975 comments I have just found books with the following note from staff

"The ASIN *** for this book has been temporarily moved to [this other edition - with link]. Please do not revert this change until after 4/20/17. Thank you"

Is it ok to revert changes now?

(I'm not being more specific as it is not allowed in this group)

Have you read this thread: /topic/show/...

msg 7 "... Librarians are welcome to revert any of these after the date has passed."
