Pam (bluegrasspam) | 123 comments I finished one book - the graphic novel Aya set in the Ivory Coast. I rated it 3 stars. It was a fun read and reminded me that teenagers will be teenagers, no matter where they live!

Pam (bluegrasspam) | 123 comments 2nd book finished- Morality for Beautiful Girls, set in Botswana. This is the 2nd book I’ve read in the series. I enjoyed it a lot and gave it 4 stars. I’m definitely continuing the series!

Thanks Viv! This will be my first book set in Croatia so I'm looking forward to it. I'm really interested in the Mosquito Coast! I saw the 1986 movie with River Phoenix back when it came out. I didn't realize it was based on a book. It's been long enough so that I have forgotten the plot!

Pam (bluegrasspam) | 123 comments 3rd book finished- Disgrace, set in South Africa. I really liked this book and rated it 4 stars (4.5)!

For Croatia, I’m thinking about a non-fiction left wing philosophy book What Does Europe Want?: The Union and Its Discontents by Zizek and Horvat. Horvat is Croatian. I don’t know if it will hold my interest but I’ll give it a try.
