Last year I totally fell off the earth on the monthly reads. I was in a bad reading funk almost all of last year and didn't participate on most of the hidden gems.

Does anyone have any suggestions for this year? I believe we had a discussion about it a few weeks ago, but I'm really not sure on what has been decided on. Do we go back to the polls or keep on going with one person picking a book for the rest of the group?

Let us know what you prefer. We love people's input.

Last I checked people still liked the hidden gem read idea but we agreed it should only be every other month so people have more time to read them. It seems like the last 6 or so picks were read pretty sparingly last year though (I know I was guilty of not reading any due to my reading funk) so I am not sure what the best plan for 2018 would be so that we get more interest in the reads. I am open to ideas.
