Thanks Linda

Doug | 1 comments I nominate The Heart's Invisible Furies by John Boyne (first published 2/9/17, so should be eligible, right?) ... mainly because I've had a copy for a year and need an extra push to get to it!

Carol (carolfromnc) | 458 comments I nominate The Translator by John Crowley. First published in 2002.

Thanks Carol and Doug, those are all fine so far.

(I do find the American M/D/Y date format confusing and illogical - to British eyes 2/9/17 normally means September, but the Boyne was published in February and the UK paperback is already available).

Sorry - I forgot about this, but the poll is up now, and will remain open until the end of the month! Usual rules apply:

The poll is still open for two more days and looking very close - none of the four can be ruled out yet!

For when, Charles? (See @12.)

P.S. It may be February, 2019, before it is eligible for this board? (Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ shows a January, 2018, publication date.) But thanks for the heads up on what looks like an interesting author whose work I do not know.

I would say wait for April - we will start another round of nominations on February 15th or shortly afterwards, but that book will still be too new until at least August 2018 under the must have been published for at least one year rule.
