TCF's Hangman

This is number 12 in the series so obviously I really like these books. However this may have been my favorite one so far. More of the focus was on Mary DiNuncio who is representing a 13 year old prodigy investigating the murder of her older sister. Trouble is it is a cold case from 5 years earlier and a man is in jail after confessing. Her client doesn't believe the right man is in jail and is up against her parents who just don't want all that grief from the past reopened. Great book

Joanne, you'll have to read a book who's title or author starts with an O. Read it, rate it, and review it with your guess :)

This is the noir classic that introduced readers to Philip Marlowe, private detective. Chandler is a master at crafting a plot that is complicated with more twists than a mountain road. The star of the novel, in my opinion, is Chandler’s way with words. His style is often imitated, but no one uses the simile and metaphor so well. It’s a fun, fast read, and I’m glad I finally read it.

GUESSING the letter R

Sorry, I'm not technically supposed to be on ŷ at work. My new position is a little more lenient, so I can check in here and there, but can't spend all day like I used to. So I'll check in a few times a day, but then after 8 pm PST, I'll be online almost every night (except tonight cause my dad has a concert in town).

Yeah, I am, but I'm in our database department now. I'm no longer a travel agent I guess you'd say. I deal with contracts and spreadsheets and all sorts of awesome nerdiness.

I'm in travel too but deal with school groups, we send a lot to Washington every year though

Review: f"*"*!!!ing hilarious spoof on The Merchant of Venice! I loved it...even though it is a tragedy, and I shouldn't have been laughing my ass off!

Review: Oh this is a good strong fantasy by an author who I love to read. It deals with a lot of issues including a situation of what would be considered PTSD when Lyon was possessed by a wraith that his mentor in sorcery summoned. Love with Tobin, one of the voices of the king. Lyon getting possessed by the ghost of a hill chieftan from a thousand years ago. stopping an invasion of a foreign army. and best of all if is a free read.
Guess N

This series always makes me smile. I know they are little cheezy but I can't resist them and usually finish them in one sitting in early hours of the day. It's typical romance set in small town (Fool's Gold). I love all the interaction between characters. Every time I finish reading this books, I wish I live in place like that (maybe without that knowing everything about everyone part).
letter M

Review: this is a cute story about roleplaying gone bed. But oh god it is good especially the chocolate orgasm. I wouldn't be eating the cake only because of nut allergies. and the puppy really steals the story.
Guessing B

Book has to be read since the word was put up.

I felt that the beginning of this book was really disjointed and if it wasn't for this challenge I might have put it down but what the heck 56 points made it worth continuing and i was glad I did. The second half was so much better and I really enjoyed it.
I didn't love the two MCs The trip home is what really got the story turned around for me.This was a new author and I would like to give this author another chance and see what she can do writing something that wasn't based on a picture and a prompt and was her idea from the start.
Letter D

Read this book and all I could say was WTF! If I didn't have to read this for two challenges I would have dropped it after the first 10 pages. I have to be more careful whek I add books to my TBR list.

Boy yesterday was my lucky day. I won a prize in my library's summer reading program AND Hangman. I kept thinking the first word was beware until W got turned down. woohoo. Great idea for a game Paris. Thanks.

Review: this book alternates between Michael, a boxer, and Elijah, a MMA fighter. both are at the top of their field but have to deal with other issues and dislike each other. toward the end they fight and the issues that effected them from the outside seem to be resolved.
I will guess D

It’s time for The Challenge Factory Hangman! This will be an ongoing game that anyone can play. Jump in at any time to guess a letter, but you have to have guessed at least one letter in order to make a guess on the word(s).
To make a guess at a letter, you have to read a book with a title or author that starts with the letter that you’d like to guess (ignore A, An or The). For Example, if you want to guess that there is an M in the word, then you need to read a book that starts with M (Monster in My Closet) or an author with first or last name (Richelle Mead or Monica Murphy). Once you read, rate and review your book, you can post your letter guess.
To make a guess at the word(s), make sure you put your guess in bold in a separate post. Whoever guesses the right word first, wins. If we reach a hangman before someone guesses the word(s), then we’ll start a new game.
One hint for the word(s) that’ll be used, they will all be book related, so either title, author, series name or maybe even a quote or a phrase from a book.
