I'm gonna ask him how he made the Charlie character..
I'll thousands of thanks for the feel he gave me after reading his book.. I found myself in that book..

I have so much to ask him, so much to learn and so much to know ..... In fact I did tweet him and he replied ^_^
Really?! That's so cool. I have contacted a few authors like that. Jennifer L Armentrout author of the Lux books

If it is Khaled Hosseini, then I believe, just hearing his thoughts will be enough to make it one of the bst days of my life. I love hearing stories and this person is a truly gifted story-teller.
If it is John Green, I've got tons of questions for him! Questions about his works, his life (specifically his life as a teenager), his vlog and so many things.
Only if this ever happens!! *sigh*

Jool

She was a very poetic author and reminded me of one of those people who drops profound nuggets of wisdom in conversation and writing as if they were cheap little candies. She was someone whose presence had magnitude but in a very positive way.

Betty Smith is dead.. Or I would have chosen her."
Good choice! I thoroughly enjoyed The Kite Runner.

Oscar and Wolfe also because they were great human beings, very opinionated and explicitly intellectual. I would've loved to have a conversation with them!
Voltaire and Shakespeare because I love literature and they had a charm about their works that was very inspiring!

Two authors at the top of my list are Sidney Sheldon and Michael Crichton, Unfortunately, they already passed away.

I would love to spend a day with Diana Gabaldon, and see her inspirations. The "Outlander" novels are just so descriptive and detailed! Visiting Khaled Hosseini would be an awesome day too! :)

1st and last would be most interesting to have a conversation with. To ask, how could they write such awesome literature, while being betrayed/ betraying your closest friends and lovers? Also, to Wilde-how could he get it all and lose by sheer greed/ stupidity? But, much before that to ask Wilde, how could he achieve such perfection in his book? I have yet to read an author, especially the plays, who could keep you laughing from beginning to the end! Ayn Rand, also to ask as to what gave her the imagination and that solid grip on the language?
Middle 2-I simply adore their works, having read all of Doyle and most of Christie. It would be fascinating to spend time with them.

To name a few.

If I can have a dead author, then it would be Shelby Foote. Wait. It might be Poe.
If it has to be a living author, then it would be Charles Frazier.

The man is literally awe-inspiring.
Although...they say "never meet your heroes", but I have a feeling that meeting John Green would be - oh...I can't even. It would be one of the most meaningful, treasured experiences I've had in my life.
If for whatever reason Mr. Green is unavailable (he does have two kids, and he's working on another book, apparently), then AS King. She just seems like a genuine, "no-excuses" kind of person, and I can get with that. :)

Sweet!

Either Salman Rushdie or Margaret Atwood. Atwood is my female science-fiction hero, and Rushdie has led a pretty insane life.

I would want to spend a day with William Shakespeare, because he is one of my favorite playwrights and to talk to him about his works, how he thinks the theatre has changed since his time, and about how he feels know that people are still performing his plays and discussing them?
