HeatherMarie, I've read two of the books you picked for me - Heart of the Dragon (tbr) and Radiance (new).
Thank you so much for the picks - I loved both if them!
And thank you for introducing me to Grace Draven's works, I'm looking forward to more of her stories.
As for the rest of the books you picked - I will definitely read them all, just not sure when.

Thanks again! :)

I finished two more of your picks, and liked them both!

I wasn't expecting to enjoy Cora Seton's book so much, but I really did and have already read more of hers. And I plan on reading more of the Animal Magnetism series too.

Issued to the Bride One Navy SEAL (Brides of Chance Creek, #1) by Cora Seton Animal Magnetism (Animal Magnetism, #1) by Jill Shalvis

Hey Romanticbookworm!
I just finished my first pick Long Shot A HOOPS Novel by Kennedy Ryan and I gave it 5 stars! It was a beautiful story, even though some parts where quite hard to read since this is partially a story about abuse.
I'm gonna start the second pick right away! :)

I have finished Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side (Jessica, #1) by Beth Fantaskey
When I first started reading this I thought not another cliche YA vampire book (which a few years ago I would have loved) but from the middle onward I really started to enjoy it. The characters development was interesting to follow. A solid 3 stars.

Diane ~Firefly~ | 1504 comments Glad you liked it Rebecca. Yeah, I was impressed that it wasn't a cliché YA vampire book. I really need to read the sequel some time.

Thank you for the recommendation Sonja, one of them am already read and love Wicked Intentions (Maiden Lane, #1) by Elizabeth Hoyt ,I added the rest to my TBR.

finished these picks.
1. The Undomestic Goddess by Sophie Kinsella I have enjoyed every single word in this book, Entertaining, fast and funny read!!
2. Six-Week Marriage Miracle by Jessica Matthews It was a very good read, So So So So Romantic that I loved every part of it.
3. The Duchess (Montgomery/Taggert, #2) by Jude Deveraux This was, one of the worst books I have ever read. It was not only boring, but the characters, the plot, everything is cliche and awful.
4. Firelight (Darkest London, #1) by Kristen Callihan So different than I thought it would be it's so easy to get into I was hooked from the first page.
5. Red Queen (Red Queen, #1) by Victoria Aveyard This is the most amazing book I've ever read, I enjoyed it even that i read it as an e-book on my tab, I prefer paper books.

Hey I finished two more. I read Vision in White (Bride Quartet, #1) by Nora Roberts a few years ago, before I was on goodreads so I hadn't rated it, but it was fun to re-visit it, I think I'll reread the rest of the series again too.

And I finished Playing for Keeps (Neighbor from Hell, #1) by R.L. Mathewson , it was very funny, I plan on reading the next in the series, hopefully it's as funny.

Thanks for all the great picks!

WOW, you're on FIRE! I kind of really want to read that one too, but am like #30 on hold for it at the library so it'll be a while!

I'm also really happy to hear you enjoyed Firelight (Darkest London, #1) by Kristen Callihan !! Totally not what you expected, right? The next book, Moonglow (Darkest London, #2) by Kristen Callihan was also good, though Firelight was still better. Honestly though, all of her books I've read so far have been really good. Not sure if you're into the rock fiction genre that seems to be big, but if you're even remotely interested, definitely try her VIP series, starting with Idol (VIP, #1) by Kristen Callihan !!! I devoured that one in one sitting!
Happy reading!

message 171: by Nancy H (new)

Nancy H | 1097 comments Hi Sarah,
I have finished two books from your pick list and LOVED both of them! All I Ever Wanted All I Ever Wanted by Kristan Higgins and The Crossing Places The Crossing Places (Ruth Galloway, #1) by Elly Griffiths They were truly good reads!

I have four more started but don't know if I will get any of them finished by month's end! Yes, I am one of those people who read multiple books at once - lol!

Thanks for such a good list! I will definitely be reading most of these even I don't get them all done within the month.

I have just finished Witchling Witchling (Otherworld/Sisters of the Moon, #1) by Yasmine Galenorn 3 sisters a witch, a warecat and vampire with faye, kitsune and a host of other magical creatures in the mix. This sounded great Unfortunately I think it lacked substance and the ending had no resolution, I know it's part of a series but that's no excuse. 3 stars may be to many.

Yeah, if you notice in my rec for this from your TBR, I said I loved the "idea of....". I read the first 3 before giving up on the series. But many times I've seen people love books I thought were just ok or meh. Sorry it didn't work for you.

I finished a couple more. I loved The Deal (Off-Campus, #1) by Elle Kennedy !! I think this was my favorite this month and I've already read the next two in the series. Great pick!

I have started I've Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella , but I don't think I'll finish today- hopefully soon though.

I didn't get to Neanderthal Seeks Human (Knitting in the City, #1) by Penny Reid , I actually read it a few years ago before I was on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ, but want to re-read it. Instead I finished the series with Marriage of Inconvenience (Knitting in the City, #7) by Penny Reid and loved it too!

I didn't make it through the list, but I planning on reading more.
