April's BOTM this month is All Kinds of Tied Down by Mary Calmes!
This is the first time we're reading any of Mary's work. Have you read her before? Do you like the Marshal's series?

Make sure you tag spoilers!!

AnnMarie (am_fasano) | 21 comments I adore Mary's books, love, love, LOVE them :) I re-read the entire Chicago Land world of hers over the last two months in anticipation of the conclusion to the Ian & Miro arc of the Marshals books. I highly recommend these books if you can swing them. I was inspired to do so after I saw Mary had posted the reading order earlier this year:

A Matter of Time vol 1
A Matter of Time vol 2
Bullet Proof
Again (Indirect)
Just Jory (Free novella on The Novel Approach)
But for You
Ears, Eggs and Bunnies (Free novella on The Novel Approach)
Acrobat (Indirect)
Parting Shot
Mine (Indirect)
All Kinds of Tied Down
Fit to be Tied
Piece of Cake
Hannah's Big Night (Free novella on The Novel Approach)
Floodgates (Indirect)
Tied up in Knots
Another Day with Jory (Free novella on The Novel Approach)
A Day Makes
Late in the Day
Kairos (Indirect)
Together Tied
Twisted and Tied

I think that Acrobat is not really indirect, especially after reading Together Tied. Also she recently had an author takeover on FB and said that the Marshals series would continue:

I’m so thrilled to have the 4th marshal book out, Twisted and Tied. It’s the last one in Miro’s POV but not the last marshal book. So while you won’t get to hear Miro worrying about Ian anymore, hopefully you’ll love being in Eli’s head just as much.

Eli's book is next and then Callahan and Redeker. They need to get even more ridiculous in Eli's book so by the time it's their book, you'll know they're about to annihilate each other.

And finally she said that there would be another Duncan & Aaron book, tentatively called Ricochet to wrap up loose ends fromAcrobat and Together Tied.

Sorry for the wall of text but Sam & Jory were one of the first M/M series I read and still one of my favorites, plus I love the universe she created :)

This is awesome! I'm glad we picked one of your favorite authors. I finished All Kinds of Tied Down, so I'll have to start A Matter of Time soon.

The Matter of Time series is awesome but I have found that it is a love it or hate it kind of thing. Many people despise Jory and I often have to defend the couple, which I do with gusto :) Just know as you are reading the Marshals books that Sam Cage is the Sam in Sam & Jory, so you will be seeing much more of him. Also, Sam is kind of a douche in the first book (volume 1) but hang in there, he deserves happiness!!!

I totally didn't pick up on the fact that it was the same Sam until the second chapter! Since I read All Kinds of Tied Down first, I'm so giddy I get to see his story. He's such a big bad ass!!

And I like Jory! I think he's hilarious.
