With no records of who he is or where he comes from, Alex is forced to become a soldier. He joins an army bred with the single purpose of saving thousands in the war against an onslaught of alien beasts. The strain of fighting a seemingly loosing battle is heightened by the arrival of The Chosen, an anarchist group determined to make the world a heaven for those with elemental powers.
