Good afternoon to everyone! So as I near the end of the entire Foundation series, I grow sad with the thought of this fun adventure being over. Does anyone know of any other books that are related to the Foundation series? Either SF, court intrigue or just a fun read?

Directly related? If you've read the 7 books that is it.

You probably should read Rendezvous with Rama by Arthur C. Clarke first thought. It is very good and shares similarities with some of Asimov's work.

Then, you have The Expense seroes that starts with Leviathan Wakes, the Old Man's War series by John Scalzi, the Imperial Radch series by Ann Leckie that starts with Ancillary Justice, the Freyaverse series by Charles Stross that starts with Saturn's Children and is followed by Neptune's Brood, and Too Like the Lightning by Ada Palmer that starts the Terra Ignota series...

And you need to read the masterpiece that is Dune.

There are some related series though maybe the entertainment value is not quite as high as the main series...

Asimov’s robots series, which he later tied in to the Foundation series.

For similar epic sweep, try Jack L. Chalker’s Saga of the Well World. Midnight at the Well of Souls is the first one.

Ann Leckie’s Imperial Radch trilogy is challenging but worth it. Ancillary Justice, Ancillary Sword, Ancillary Mercy.

Frank Herbert’s Dune, although the quality drops from book to book, and really plummets once Herbrt’s son took over. The first 3 should scratch that itch.

Ian Banks Culture novels. They aren’t a series per se, as each book is mostly a standalone.

Larry Niven’s Known Space books, particularly the ones written before 1990-ish. Like Dune, the Ringworld books start great and get worse, but the first 4 tell a complete tale.

H. Beam Piper books including The Cosmic Computer and The Space Viking and A Slave is a Slave.

And of course Dan Simmons HYPERION Cantos (4 books) is great as is Peter Hamilton’s NIGHT’S DAWN trilogy and the Commonwealth Saga starting with JUDAS UNCHAINED And PANDORA’S STAR.

There is new SF book out that is very good so far Empire of Silence
By Christopher Ruocchio. About 100 pgs in and seems to be a keeper.

Well I think Foundation is really quite unique, but some I’ve enjoyed as much: Uplift by Brin, Dune of course, Tripods by Christopher (YA), Beyond the Blue Event Horizon by Pohl, the Morphodite by Foster, Tau Zero by Anderson, Wayfarer by Schmidt. I should stop now!

I’m in the middle of the foundation series, of course after I read the robot series. Ha

I do recommend the Bobiverse series by Dennis E Taylor. It was noisy in the beginning but worth it halfway through and I just finished the fourth book.

i forgot about Cherryh loved those series

I finished the Saga of Seven Suns space opera by Kevin J Anderson recently. It's a seven-book space opera, and I strongly recommend you give it a go, if you haven't already, of course. And if you're open to fantasy, I'd highly recommend The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan (completed by Brandon Sanderson after Jordan passed away). Apart from two books somewhere in the middle of the 14-book series that dragged a bit for me, it's THE most epic story I've ever read and a must-read for every fantasy fan.
