I could too. If I reserve my copy it'll take about a week for it to be ready for pick up, what about yours?

Sounds good to me.

Okay good to hear, I just finished my other book, so I will be starting tonight and hopefully catch up with you very soon :) How far is the rest? Just write down your thought within a spoiler and I will comment on it once I have read the first 8 chapters as well. Sorry for the short delay from my side..
I've read chapters 1 & 2 yesterday so I'm a bit behind too, but so far I'm really intrigued in the story. I was brought up on '80s things so I definitely love the references! Honestly, I had no idea what this was about when I added it to be tbr (I don't really read blurbs - I just hear good things about books and read 'em) and I'm really looking forward to where this is going!

I read the first 2 chapters and I have the same thing, I don't know a lot about the 80, so that is kind of a pity, but I do like playing videogames, so that is something I can relate to :)

I know exactly what you mean. I'm sort of slowing down but I'm almost coming to chapter 4. I guess it's one of those books that hits you with the world building first then whisks you off in the action later (well, I'm hoping it's like that)

I'm at chapter 18, really speeding on (view spoiler)
But also, I'm going to have to speak my mind; I wasn't impressed with the way, just a couple of pages in, it was having a bash on Christianity. If the author wants to bash it, fine, but how about he does so in another nonfiction book? So many books do this and I get authors want to put their beliefs in their books but reading should be a universal thing and having a go on something some people believe in is just limiting the readers' enjoyment (of the book) around the world. I mean I it's the author's choice but...argh I don't know how to explain! Do I that make sense anyway?

I have to read on then :) And yes, as far as I know it is :)

In the first chapter, he literally called it bulls**t. It just made me cringe with uneasiness...

Where is everyone in the book btw? I've slowed down reading because I don't want to overtake anyone but yeah, I'm still on chapter 18.

Hahahah oops than I already overtook you I am afraid... I am at chapter 28... Should I wait now for the both of you to catch up?

Wow, I was waiting on you guys but now it's every woman for herself I think I'll finish it tonight!
