It's going to be tough to find the MPG for this word. I've been searching and can't find anything. I'm going to look for the cover and see if there's anything for that.

Also, I'm sorry for being a bit absent, school is kicking in fully and I still have two exams coming up this week. I am reading though and will definitely finish the book till Saturday :)

Next round is up... Shock THANKSGIVING

Didn't give us very much planning time this round after having a couple of weeks with the first word and week 2 released on Monday so it's probably good we got a long word with a lot of variety in letters. Although I will say we seem to get the longest of the choices each round and although there isn't a bonus for how many we complete those tougher letters would have been easier to rack up with words like "blood" or "potion" like some of the top teams had.

I think a lot of the top teams are reading longer books too so they are getting more points per book. I'll update the first comments with the countdown for week 3.

Speaking of longer books, I finally got my copy of Words of Radiance, which is around 1200 pages - I'll probably start reading it next week and try to finish it in a week or two so at least that might be a bit helpful.

Regarding the book I'm reading now, I'm more than halfway through and will definitely finish it by tomorrow, when I can start another one! :D

Thanksgiving would work for title and MGP but I checked my library and it's checked out.

Thanksgiving is a pretty easy word so we should be able to cover all the Bonus books!

I'm still trying to find the Word on Genre for Trick or Treat but I'm not having any luck.

Just finished the book I was reading (yay!). Still planning to finish Crazy Rich Asians by tomorrow. It's been such a busy week.

Finally finished Eichmann in Jerusalem: A Report on the Banality of Evil. added it to the Books Read thread for letters A or E.

@Melissa I'm not sure if you want to bother or not but my City of Broken Magic could fit into an O slot so you could trade with Nicole's C on the 4th line giving us another of the hard letters.

I'm heading out to pick up my daughter at a friend's house and then will be going to Church. If anything pops up that I haven't gotten to Sunny can you enter it? I think everything's been completed though so we should be alright.

I can move Rina's Turkey Day Murder to Word on Cover and we can use Thanksgiving Night as Genre - it was shelved as Thanksgiving 9 times.
