I am trying to find the title of the book or series it maybe. Its about a girl who was raped by a few college boys after being drugged by them at a house party. She remembers one face and a phrase and may even have a scar (?) On her body which she got whilst she was raped.
She became reserved and didn't really connect with anyone. However she saw him on TV and decided she wanted revenge so she planned his demise. She went to a big fabcy party where she saw him (he is CEO partner) but she meets his business partner and friend from college and uses him but ends up falling in love with him.
She never told the boyfriend/loved that his partner and friend raped her until the end where it finishes off with him kicking her out (he was irrational) but the next book shows that he opened the door kind of straight after (i.e the same scene and no time passed) and brought her back inside to talk.
He felt disgusted that his close partner and friend did this go one he loves and got away with it. He wants to do something so that he gets what he deserves.
Other things I can remember:
- during the time leading to the time she was assaulted, she was in a car with college boys she saw when she was hanging out with her best friend
- the girl and the guy she loves live together
- his name could be Gabe
- 'Gabe's' business partner and let's say ex-friend name may start with a C or T
- the girl is in University maybe doing psychology?
- the guy's run a business together, the good one is very hardworking and bad one is just ehhhh....he has gambling problem too (in debt: 1 million dollars)and they found out he has had a history of drugging girls.
Some of it can be incorrect but if someone can recognise the storyline slightly, please comment what you think it is. Thank you soooo much. It is bugging me so bad. I can't even remember the authors name. ;(
