This year I hoped for 250 books and I've exceeded that but I hesitate to expect the same results next year. I'm going to stick with 250 and HOPE for more!! I include everything I read and count: short stories, graphic novels, picture books and young adult works no matter the length.

I think I will actually need multiple lives to finish all books on my TBR....

And I let them believe it too!

I've been trying to find a group to join that has more mature readers. Not so much that I think our reading tastes would be the same, but that I want the same level of memories. Have you found anything like that around here?

Sorry I've taken a bit to reply. I have been able to find several great groups for more mature readers but unfortunately I don't live anywhere near you. Perhaps talking to your local library staff about this may alert them to a need in the community. Good luck.

OK, I totally misread the meaning of that question and I apologize. I don't know what type of books you read on a regular basis but I guess my favorite group on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ that routinely deals with mature readers is Reading 1001. It is a group of readers who are attempting to read the 1001 Books You Should Read Before You Die. You might check that out. If I think of anything else, I'll be sure to let you know.

Another great list came out last year of books to read. I thought I was buying 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die, but when I got home, it was 1,000 Books to Read Before You Die: A Life-Changing List. Though different, it's still a great list.

I appreciate all the support I can get. Unfortunately, we are dealing with some end of life issues for my mother and my reading is greatly restricted. I am enjoying every minute I have with her and will get back to my intensive reading when we have made our way through this. If I don't hit my goal this year, there's always next!!!!!
