I'd Like To Buy a Vowel (2014)
Since this one seems popular enough to have several members do it more than once, I'm extending the completion date to December 31, 2014.
Go, Team Vowel!

AEIOU and sometimes Y.
As in "my." Or working in combination as with: "stay" or "toy."
It's a letter of extraordinary versatility. :)

Right now, I'm teaching third grade. Thought I'd end up teaching HS or Jr. High with my literature/journalism background, but ended up specializing in the lower end: Pre-1st, 1st, 2nd, 3rd... Maybe I'm working my way up to the higher grades!! :D
Thank you for that, Sandy. I've been truly, truly blessed to have students come back from HS, college, etc., because they had fond remembrances of being on my class. It doesn't get better than that for a teacher. (Hint Hint for everyone to email/tell that memorable teacher that she was.) ;-)

Okay, so, no names will be shared, but maybe we want to double check our titles for vowels. Just putting it out there. X-)

No Es-
No Is-
No Os- Needful Things
No Us- The Charioteer
No Ys- The Age of Innocence
I'm throwing my lot in with all of you. Starting with my September reads and moving onwards. :) The first two didn't give me much flexibility, but I'm on Needful Things now.
Hooray for more "vowel-ites"' or "vowel-heads."
"Vowel-lovers" just sounds too kinky, and I've already got to live down the ugly "book slut" debacle.

No As- Hodd
No Es- Dracula
No Is- A Feast for Crows
No Os- Frankenstein
No Us- King Lear
No Ys- The Suspicions Of Mr Whicher Or The Murder At Road Hill House
Yeah. I did little reading in September, either. I have been chipping away at Phineas Redux, though, for No Os. And I'm part of a group that's doing Portrait of a Lady in October, which still puts me well within the challenge parameters.
I think it's wise to keep your options open. :D
Also, remember we have until the end of November.
