Fishface | 18416 comments When brainstorming the names of female serial killers to answer Koren's question, I remembered that case I read about in The Dead Girls by Jorge Ibargüengoitia, a novel based on the true story of a Mexican brothel where a number of the business girls were killed and buried on the grounds by the madam. I cannot remember her blasted name. Does anyone remember which true case this is based on and whether there was ever a nonfiction version of the story in print?

Serial-killing brothel owners Delfina and Maria de Jesus Gonzalez, whose crimes were uncovered in 1964.

I haven't found an entire nonfiction book about them, and I am beginning to think there simply isn't one, but here's an excerpt from another book:

Fishface | 18416 comments I read about a staggeringly weird case in Cult Killers that does not seem to have a single book written about it. At least not one that I can find. Does anyone know of a whole book devoted to the Pendragon cult in Marin County, California?

Jim Rossi | 3 comments A documentary, apparently - Did you see this?

Apparently perp says he was framed to cover up his covert heroics in the Secret Space Program defending Earth fro reptilian aliens. Too bad, I've spent a lot of time in that part of Marin, nice place but more than its quota of nuts.

Well, I just spent an hour, or so, trying to find one about that, but no luck. So, I'm thinking there isn't a book about the murder.

It could have been worse. He could have succeeded in starting war against the State of California!
