Share ONE sentence from a book (or magazine or cereal box or you name it) you're currently reading. Good OR bad. No comment needed. Don't forget to cite the book title and the author.

Intriguing! Let us know if you liked it? I was looking at the reviews, which seem to be mostly either 1 or 2 stars or 5 stars. I think i'll try the sample :-)

"That must have been some speech" became an inside joke of Michelle and her husband after Barak Obama's stellar keynote speech at the 2004 Democratic National Convention. He was not very widely known yet, but his speech set off interviews and floods of people asking and wondering whether he would run for president. That speech changed their lives forever. Later that year Barack Obama was elected to the US Senate with 70 percent of the vote the largest majority in Illinois history.

“Must've been a good speech", she would say to her husband, again and again. It was a catchphrase she would use when people asked for his autograph in the street, or when Oprah turned up at the house to interview them. :-)

I remember getting a chuckle out of the speech line every time it comes up.

And now I’m wondering why speech and speaker aren’t spelled the same. Lol.

I really was some speech. I taped it and replayed it for my daughters and their then-teenaged friends. All of them couldn’t wait to vote for Obama as President. And then they did. :)

...it’s not always about what happens during the workout. It’s about being the type of person who doesn’t miss workouts. Going to the gym for five minutes may not improve your performance, but it reaffirms your identity. - James Clear, Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones

I’m totally freaking IN LOVE with this book! I’m reading a chapter a day over dinner, highlighting the heck out of it, and learning something new everyday about my habits. :-D And it all makes sense!
